2008 AVID Award Winners & Finalists Announced at the 2008 Professional Builder Benchmark and AVID Leadership Conference

AVID Ratings has announced the 2008 winners and finalists of the AVID Awards™ for outstanding customer experience in the home building industry.

This year’s winners are Gerstad Builders, AVID Diamond Award – Best Customer Experience in the U.S. and North America; Avalon Central Alberta, AVID Diamond Award – Best Customer Experience in Canada; Lakewood Homes, AVID Award – Best Customer Experience for 500 or more closings in the United States; Van Metre Homes, AVID Award – Best Customer Experience for 100-499 closings in the United States; Mattamy Homes – Peel, AVID Award - Best Customer Experience in Ontario; Blandford Homes, AVID Award – Best Customer Experience in Phoenix, Arizona.

Finalists for the Phoenix market were also recognized and included Ashton Woods Homes, Farnsworth Development, Shea Homes, and SunCor Development.

Now in its sixth year, the AVID Awards presented by Professional Builder are the leading industry-sponsored awards honoring the best builders throughout the United States for excellence in homeowner delight. Winners and finalists of the 2008 AVID Awards presented by Professional Builder will be featured in the November 2008 issue of Professional Builder magazine.

In 2007, AVID Ratings alongside with the Canadian Home Builders’ Association began awarding those in the Canadian housing market for their high performance in customer loyalty. The 2008 Canadian AVID Award winners will be published in the November/December 2008 issue of Home BUILDER Magazine, the official magazine of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association.
