Liked When buying anything you always want value for your dollar and with our home we feel that was more than acheived and we received very good value for our dollar and had a very friendly professional and enjoyable experience while purchasing.
Would Change Nothing. Everyone was very professional and when any small issues did arise they were handled quickly, fairly and efficiently.

Liked Quality/design of the home. The company owner took time to meet with us twice to discuss plans of our outdoor living space so we completely understood his vision.

Liked I love the open layout and the area of the home and the community.
Would Change I would change the quailiy of the flooring, need a better quaility of carpet and laminate floors. The step issue with my front door and step, the foot to 18 inch gap is a safety hazard with 3 people falling already, it really needs to be fixed. The lighting fixtures, there is 5 lights on 1 switch and this is not very energy efficient. For the technology out there this should be changed for your environment and energy efficiency.

Liked I love the quality of the home, the beautiful outcome of the home.
Would Change Our closing date was on 12/24, the home was ready on 12/22 but we couldn't move in until our closing date. It would have been nice to have the option of moving the closing date to the date the home was ready but they wouldn't allow that. Because of this it made Christmas alittle difficult. If they just could have been alittle more accomadating to the customer.

Liked I know other people in either construction or home sales and they never had any concerns with Portait Homes as well as the bank I deal with had dealt with Portrait Homes and it made my financing easier and quicker. If you put the effort upfront to do a good job it comes back as this type of references and reputation.

Would Change They built a man-made pond in the back green area. The sitting water has caused WAY more mosquitoes, hard to be on patios for everyone in that set of town homes.

Liked Portrait Homes team was always ready and happy to answer/inform us on any question or inquiry we had. They accommodated us with changing the contract a few times so that it would meet our needs(sale of our previous property).
Would Change It would've been much better to have a gas fireplace. The electrical one is going to cost us a fortune unless we stay in the cold. Also, the bathtub is way to small. It might be good for kids but not for the grown ups and it could've come somewhere in between with another size.
