We had a lot of issues with the construction and finishes, our kitchen cabinets stains did not match and they didn't want to fix them. I got a different shower than I was expecting and they didn't give me a choice on landscaping. The painters were terrible!! Paint all over our tile, door hinges, door stopper. Flat paint where there should have been gloss. All our interior doors were damaged on the bottom. I love the house I'm just disappointed in the finishes!! Seems like the finishes were done in a rush with no care.

Prior to the last few weeks I would have recommended Richmond American Homes. They seemed to provide quality houses with good layouts, at least as far as large new home builders go. But the recent issues with attic mold and how Richmond's representatives have handled it have been unacceptable. We noticed the growth 6 weeks ago, and it has gotten much worse over the past month. The representative for warranty did not respond for the last month and someone just showed up today to take a look at the issue, and it sounds like it is going to be a rather cumbersome process to fix. Furthermore we have started to feel negative health impacts mold.
