Overall Experience

Overall I’m sitting on the fence with regard overall experience. Our initial journey was fantastic, sales was excellent and so was the moving assistance service from Virtuo, but since moving in we’ve discovered a host of issues, 3 separate water leaks in the house, a damaged electrical conduit running to the house preventing us from installing the fibre optic cable leaving us without internet, poorly installed flooring that needs to be replaced, poorly fastened kitchen handles that have fallen off, and a low spec temporary driveway that has caused us problems from the start and took over a month to sort out etc etc. Sterling customer care have been pretty poor in responding failing to keep us up to date on repairs. We keep on getting messages saying sorry but nothing has improved.

Lauren and Alex were amazing, made the sales process seemless for us. Josh and Karen were great during the walk throughs and all. The best part of Sterling homes is the people. Quality of work could be better. Overall, would recommend.

This is our third Sterling Home and while no build will ever be perfect - Sterling has always been quick and understanding in addressing any issues that come up along with way and after. Their quality is evident, especially during our most recent build, compared to other builders in the same community.

My first home was built by Cedarglen Homes, and their service and quality of work was way better than Sterling Home. When I was looking for upgrading my home, I did look for multiple builders in the market and I felt Sterling Homes was meeting my requirement with cost and quality but that was not the case. I am not happy with both cost and quality. I understand that cost has increased due to inflation but what about the quality. I see most of the things which used be part of standard are not part of upgrade. If that is the case, I will suggest removing the standard options as if we need to go with Standard options what Sterling has, I would have opted other builders. I am not happy with your trades as they are decentralized and there is no sequence for them and it eats lot of time and effort in finalizing.
