Avid Ratings and NAHB’s National Sales and Marketing Council Announce New Category for New Home Sales and Marketing Awards: The GoTour® Industry Choice Awards
Builders are invited to enter their digital home tours to compete for the first-ever people’s choice award at this year’s The NationalsSM at the 2017 International Builders’ Show
MADISON, WI (August 9, 2016) – Avid Ratings, the creator of the award-winning GoTour® home virtualization system for the homebuilding industry, has announced its sponsorship of a new category at The NationalsSM 2017—National Sales and Marketing Awards presented by the National Sales and Marketing Council (NSMC), a council of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). The GoTour® Industry Choice Award Presented by Avid Ratings will honor the builder that has the best digital home tour based on industry peer votes, looking at overall exterior and interior architecture, design appeal, function, and creative use of interior space and integration of plan design. The builder that receives the highest number of votes wins and will be recognized during The Nationals℠ Awards ceremony at the International Builders’ Show in Orlando on January 10, 2017.
Builders have three ways to enter the new award category. They can submit an existing Avid GoTour® created in 2015 or 2016. They can submit an existing online or mobile property tour produced via high-definition (HD) video, Matterport®3D/360 tours, or slideshow, and Avid will upload it into the GoTour® platform. Builders can also develop a new GoTour® from scratch via Avid Ratings.

GoTour’s® enhanced technology allows customers to choose from a variety of integrated digital touring methods to captivate them, convert sales prospects, and increase product option sales. Builders can offer high-definition (HD) video complemented with voiceover, music, and/or virtual reality (VR) headset mode for fully immersive tours. Matterport®3D/360 tours provide dynamic floor plans, allowing users to control “dollhouse” views from any angle for a virtual walkthrough, view customer reviews and customer video testimonials, and product options while Computer-Generated Tours provide tours of homes that are still under construction.

The Nationals℠ 2017 National Sales and Marketing Awards standard entry fee is $275, plus additional fees depending on how the category is entered (e.g. existing GoTour®, existing digital media that needs conversion to GoTour®, or the development of a new GoTour®). Once an entry has been submitted and finalized with your GoTour® representative, it will be uploaded to a page where all GoTours® entered can be viewed. Entries will be accepted until October 4.
