It's very quiet and takes up little wall space. You need to perches a line to connect the unit to a gas line. The heat blows out from the bottom and does a great job of mixing the air to provide a uniform temperature in the house. The only bad thing was the packaging, it arrived with two small dents.

heater didn't work properly after install. Rinnai authorized service center charged me $885 to fix a faulty gas control assembly. Rinnai supplied new assembly at no charge but only reimbursed me $147,(tech labor to install new assbly, but not for troubleshooting) so it cost me $738 to fix a $1640 heater that was faulty from the factory. I have two of these and was going to buy a larger one this fall. I will be looking for another brand that hopefully backs their products better.

I have had this heater for about 6 months. It is very easy to use, with many features. It heats quickly and is very quiet.

Simple to use, reliable. I had one in my old house for 20 years (still works), bought a née place that had no heat so knew instantly my solution would be another Rinnai heater.

We were told it would hardly use any propane, but we are spending an extreme amount each month. We were set up with a size that is too small and it will not heat the room properly if temperature falls below -10 C. We have had the unit since November. It may be the location in the house (north side), but the cost to run it is just too great.
Works very well with little or no attention. Heats space very well.

It is extremely quiet, you really have to listen to see if it is running, I also love the fact that it is cool to the touch and really keeps the temperature on target.
