Impressed by claimed efficiency and ease of operation, as well it's compactness compared to old boiler and hot water heater. My combi unit was installed just a month ago so time will tell if it "stands the test of time and it's reported 90+% efficiency compared to old system at 50%.

We purchased in October of 2019. We are very happy with both the heat and hot water output. It does take some time for the heat to warm the house if you turn it down at night or during the day. We have found if you leave it a degree or two below where you want it this is best. It is very cost effective so it’s not a problem.

I like that it is both a water heater and heating system. Two things that I don't like is that , one, heating my home takes a very long time and two, when taking a shower, the temperature goes in waves of hot and cold. Very inconsistent.

This unit is great! Super efficient. The only down side to the domestic hot water part of the system is it needs a minimum flow to hear the water. In other words turning the cold up too much in the shower will cause the hot water to cut out. My family has added a high flow shower head that helps. We have had this unit for 3 cold winter months.

Purchased a very costly High Efficiency Unit M120CN specs rated at 95%, unfortunately the unit can only put out 68% efficiency, I contacted Rinnai Support and they cannot explain who to achieve 95%.
Very quiet, takes up little space. Owned it for 4 months now and it has definitely met our expectations.

I am a brand new owner of this unit and have not had time to properly evaluate it, but look forward to doing so particularly if it is going be more economical to operate. I have had it only 3 weeks and it looks like something from a Star Wars movie with so much brass and twists and turns but hope it will do the job. So far so good.
