Have had this coming up on a year now. Exceeded expectations. All the hot water we can use. Can take showers in both bathrooms simultaneously! Not sure yet about natural gas energy savings but expect they will be good over a year's time.

What stands out is that it uses electricity for the fan which is noisy and uses energy.
Had this tankless heater for almost a year. No complaints. Quick hot water supply and LOVE that it's so compact, leaving space for all your other belongings.

Bought a house that had a Rinnai tankless in it for 17 years. It finally died and I replaced it with a newer model because I loved the reliability and how it fit so well in my small house. New unit fit perfectly and is even more powerful than its predecessor, I can fill a bathtub and run two showers at the same time and never lose hot water! Will never use another brand, highly recommended!

First and foremost you need the model set up for re-circulation, unless your place is very small. Otherwise you waste a lot of water. I have the re-circulation pump and I get hot water almost instantly. (We set it for times we normally need hot water and it's there.) The most frustrating thing is when I take a shower, I wait a few seconds for the water to get hot, I go through the normal adjustment process and enjoy my shower for about 2 minutes when the water goes cold. I turn it to full Hot and after 30 seconds to a minute the water gets hot again and hotter and it's hot for good. I never had this problem with a hot water tank.
It meets my expectation for hot water. Was disappointed to learn of the annual maintenance required by authorized contractor. Seems excessive unless you have hard water. Not an expense I was expecting. Never needed with my conventional system.

I like the fact that we have a good deal of hot water instead of running out, however I do wish the hot water was instant instead of waiting for it to get hot. We purchased and got it installed in early November of 2021.

Our local gas company installed our unit. They were great. They did a good job installing and did not leave a mess. I love the HOT water.

We've had our water heater installed for about 6 months now, and it still feels like a luxury. Where before we wouldn't have enough hot water in our tank to fill our bathtub all the way (at least to the warmth level we prefer), that is no longer an issue. It takes less time than our traditional water heater to warm up, and we can run a shower and at least one appliance simultaneously without a difference in temperature level. We recommend this continuous water heater to anyone in the market for a new water heater.
