THIS IS OUR 2ND RINNAI.. THE SERVICE GUY COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW LONG OUR FIRST ONE HAD LASTED. WE LOVE IT. NO NASTY HOT WATER HEATER MESS OR SPACE HOGGING WITH THIS. IT'S SO ENERGY EFFICIENT. DID I MENTION WE LOVE IT.

I've owned the Rinnai tankless water heater for just a few months and it has met my expectations. I live in a two-story house and it does take about a minute for the water to heat up in the upstairs bathroom. Once the water is heated, all is well. The heater is outside. A friend who hadn't been to my home in a while, noticed the new heater and commented on what a nice sleek look it had. I thought that was interesting. Most people don't notice or care about what utilitarian items look like, so that speaks to the cosmetics of the Rinnai. I care that it works and lasts long, so I may have to come back and give an update on this review in 15-20 years! I'll let you know then how things are going. But so far, so good!

It was here when I bought the new house. No choice, so I am having to either wast water or waste gas & electricity with a RE-circulation pump - which is not a good solution. If you have to run from the unit more than 25’ - then you need a better solution. 2 smaller units or a ‘point of use’ unit (that is affordable!) and actually works.
The Rinnai heater q installed in the construction of our home 2 years ago. It has worked perfectly, other than one occasion when a loose electrical connection caused it to shut down.

We like the easily accessible temperature control and have had our gas tankless heater (exterior mounted) for about 6 months. So far we are very happy with the heater and love the floor space we gained in our garage when we removed our old tank heater. We live about a mile from the beach and will be watching closely to see how the unit holds up to the salt air.
