Installed a year ago to replace a gas hot water tank. I decided it was time to save energy and switch to hot water on demand instead of heating and storing hot water 24 hours a day. Tankless system requires minimal space and lends itself to lower energy costs. Best decision ever!

Effective, efficient, steady. Took a little getting used to waiting a few seconds for the hot water to come out at temp, but I've lived in plenty of older buildings where regular tank heaters take much longer to do the same. The unit itself is extra-small compared to our old tank heater, too. Highly recommended.

Did not perform as , only had it a week be fore I made contractor replace with a conventional gas heater due to it's performance.

6 / 8 months after installation. Great savings as the hot water was not used while we were away for a few months. The only slight dis- like is that the unit is a bit loud when in use. It sits in a closet in a bedroom and will wake anyone sleeping.

We have had the RL94i for about 5 months now and we do like the fact it provides endless hot water and the fact it provides more space in the garage. Our master bath is about 50+ feet away from the tank and the wait time in winter is a little too long. This isn't the model I wanted, but it was the only model we could get on short notice. Our old hot water heater failed and we didn't want to do without hot water any longer than necessary so we settled for this model.

The hot water is intense! Be careful on what you set it at. Only drawback that I have seen is that our gas bill went up about 20% since we had it installed.

We have one tankless heater for our house with four bedrooms and three teenagers. Have never run out of hot water. This one was a little pricier than others but it was very professionally installed in an over house which required some creative installation piping. I’ve been very very happy with how well does this worked from day one. We can run dishwashers, washing machines and both showers and never run out of hot water.

I am on my second Rinnai tankless water heater. I love having hot water all the time; never running out no matter how many showers are taken or how long the showers. I did have some trouble finding a really good company for service. My first Rinnai was installed and lasted only 10 years even though I had it serviced regularly--apparently I was paying a lot of money for nothing. But now I have a wonderful company who knows what they are doing service it on a regular basis. It used to be an issue when the electricity went off, but now we have a Generac so those issues are in the past.

We had rinnai for about 3 months now and love it. The water stays hot forever! The only thing I don’t like is it’s hooked up by the master bedroom in the attic and the kitchen is on the other side which takes forever to get hot water but positive about that is the master water gets hit quicker. It does take sometime to get the hot water but after the hot water is coming out it’s there forever.

Was installed back in Oct/Nov of 2021. Seems to work properly; however, it is difficult to change the temperature setting. I like my hot water to actually be HOT, not luke warm & my contractor had to open up the entire unit & fiddle with some of the interior programming switches to get the temp up to 140 degrees. Clearly, I am not an idiot and will not scald myself & I make the water cooler by adding cold water, but if it isn't hot enough to start with, it makes for very cold showers & I don't need them.
