I’ve had my water heater installed for the past 6 month and enjoy constant hot water, the only downside is letting the water run for 30-45 second in the beginning before it gets hot. It’s still much much cheaper then my old electric water heater.

It is excellent in the kitchen and outdoor shower which are on or very near the water heater closet. I have had it for around 6 months. I am not happy that it requires too much water to flow before the hot water arrives at he desired location.
The Rinnai is compact compared to an electric water heater. It was installed a little over a month ago and already our electric and water bill has gone down. Although it’s a little pricey, from what I’m seeing in my electric bill now, I’m confident that it is going to save me an easy $300.00 plus a year. I highly recommend Rinnai for your next water heater.

The hot water available on demand without paying for hot water to sit in a water heater tank. It provides all the hot water we need even when we have guests for the weekend. We've had this tank for two months. It is replacing a Rinnai tankless water heater that we had for 13 years.

My only problem is that the fan in it vibrates a bit on the wall that it’s screwed to. This does make a little noise and we are getting used to it.

I do not like the wait time for the hot water. It seems like such a waste of water waiting for it to get hot.
We bought the tankless water heater to 1) save space in our garage; 2) get rid of 40 gallons of water that could potentially leak; and 3) save energy on heating water. Those objectives were met, but the hot water takes longer to get to the faucets and the temperature drops after a couple of minutes during a shower.
I got the tankless water heater about 7 months ago, works perfect. I had it installed in a 40ft mobile, it came with a 10gal heater, what a joke that was. now if you have Gas/propane & water you have hot water.

We had it professionally installed when we bought the house and have pretty much ignored it since. It takes about as much time as that of a regular hot water tank for the hot water to push the sitting cold water through the pipes to the second floor. I love that it takes up no floor space in the basement. My power bills are about ⅔ of the previous owner’s.
Supplies all the hot water I can use with very low propane flows.

Quiet operation, good operating statistics available on display. I have had the heater installed for 6 months now with no issues. The only downfall is the inability to connect the iPhone app to the Rinnai-R Wi-Fi accessory I installed with the heater. It is easy to install and connect to the heater and I can see it as a device in my wi-fi list in my phone but the iPhone app is useless.

Nowhere does it mention that the exhaust fan would be so loud. Also, we had to have installed, a few weeks later, and at an extra $600, a small tank so that the pressure (?) wouldn’t keep dropping every time the toilet flushed or cold water was turned on anywhere in the house initializing the exhaust fan yet again. We’re on city water so I don’t see how that cd be a problem, but there it is. Is that what you call efficient? I don’t.
