Stirring to the bathroom at midnight engaging the hands to instant hot water is a soothing experience..... This tankless waterheater meets my expectations, though I've kept the main water heater for restricted kitchen and doing the laundry services, overall, the two systems work well together.

My home was using two 50 gallon electric hot water heaters. Always a battle with 5 people who would get the cold shower. We decided to upgrade to a tankless Rinnai hot water heater. Purchased from a local Propane distributor. They installed the unit and did a fantastic job. The first shower was a delight. The water stayed hot and felt so good. After the first whole month of using the tankless unit and not the electric tanks, our power bill went down $75. That is a great savings. We have had the unit now for almost 6 months. It uses little propane as we only now need to have gas delivered. The gas cost $98 to fill the tank. You can see the cost savings right there. This is the best upgrade fro the cost that can be done to a home.

the unit has been in operation for less than 12 months and is already throwing diagnostic code 15 error and not working. I have contacted a plumber to come look at it, but it is serving a vacation rental unit and my guests have been without hot water for 2 days now

External propane model. Energy savings are not tremendous, wait time for hot water is long.
I like the efficiency of it.. Not having to keep my hot water hot when not in use. I was not a big fan of having to put tape on the intake to calibrate it only to have to have a tech come back out and calibrate it again after i removed the tape. Code 17. I have had it in my new home since we moved in on the 24th of January 2020

I love my Rinnai tankless water heater!! Never have to worry about running out of hot water. I haven't had it but a few months, it is a replacement for a Rheem tankless that finally died. So far so good!

I made a great choice with choosing Rinnai. The water is heated very quickly. How I made it without a tankless heater is beyond me. You will not go wrong with Rinnai. Highly recommended
