I have used this product every day for the past 3 months and am happy so far. Water is hot for the duration of my shower which is one of the important features I was looking for.

I bought the top of the line tankless water heater. I have owned it less than a year. I almost immediately had intermittent hot to cold issues. I called Suburban Propane about the problem and was told that many customers had same issue. They sent a tech but we could not duplicate issue while he was here so nothing was done. Called Rinnai service and was told it could be a circuit board problem or bad flow sensor. They sent a tech from another company out but again we could not duplicate issue. Again nothing was done. I sincerely believe that no one knows enough about these tankless water heaters to effectively service them. The Rinnai tech, Matt Davis, was very helpful at first. After speaking with Suburban Propane manager, he did a 180* turn and became contradictory to everything he told me and did not recommend any further steps or replacement of any parts that he earlier said could possibly be the issue. They're end decision was since the water heater in question did not throw a code that nothing is wrong. My wife now wanes me to replace it back with a conventional water heater. Since we live on the coast, I would have to relocate it upstairs in the house according to permitting. Just another needless expense. Thanks alot Rinnai.

Quality, efficient, easy to install Installed it about 3 months ago as a replacement for Noritz that sprung a leak after 10 years of trouble free, maintenance free service! So far exceeds all my expectations. The Rinnai is so efficient that the exhaust was at the ambient temperature on the initial start, I thought it wasn’t working only to open the cover and saw the flame in the combustion chamber. I was truly amazed. The old Noritz exhaust was so hot I had to be careful when working near the exhaust.

My electric bill has been cut in half. I had it installed approx 4 months ago. I think it is great. The only downside if you consider it a downside is that it could take several ( 3-4 min) to heat the water on the other side of the house.

Size is more than adequate. It was installed in January. It meets my expectations fully. I am no longer heating water when I don’t need it. No more running out of hot water after washing dishes, taking two showers, and one bath every night.

I spent a lot of money for an outdoor tankless and didn’t expect to get 0 support.
Efficient and doesn’t take up room inside of my house. No worries with it leaking and ruining your home. This is the second home that we requested that the plumber used a Rinnai water heater. Prior to that we had another brand of tankless water heater and had issues with it but not with a Rinnai.

I was never thrilled about a tank in the attic, or in the garage. Rinnai allowed me to place the unit outside with the HVAC and generator. We've had it a couple of months now; it meets all our needs and I haven't seen much movement on the propane tank gauge!
