Love tankless hot water. Installed it 6+ months ago & left town for a weekend. Upon return found no hot water. Rinnai jumped with my local gas company to trouble shoot. Found they could not quickly repair the unit, so overnighted a new unit to be installed the next day.

We've had our Rinnae on demand water heater for about a year and have not had any issues with it. We had one in our last house and had been very pleased, so when we needed to replace an old water heater in our next home, Rinnae was our first choice.

Likes: Water warms up quickly, no problems with the system (have had it for a year) Wishes: I wish it came with a backup battery ot had a built-in battery. I purchased a battery separately for those occasions when we lose power.

Replaced our boiler and tank water heater with a combination Rinnai unit in our previous house, very happy with it. Moved a year ago and replaced the tank water heater in the new house with an on-demand Rinnai water heater. Very happy with both units.
