Although it takes a little bit longer for water to get hot, it is worth the wait because my electricy use has been reduced by apprx. 40% even though I have only have used tankless water heater for 3 months. Really wish I had switched from electric water heater to tankless the last time I bought an electric water heater.

Built a new house had our Rennai installed it is gas propane. Had our tank refilled and only used 92 gallons in a full year for water and a gas heater in wintertime. My only concern is the water wasted to get the water pipes warm as I have city water. Ideally having a well would be even cheaper to use a tankless water heater.

WE HAD THE RINNAI WATER INSTALLED IN OUR NEW HOME... THE START UP WAS SO EASY!!! IT DOES TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO GET THE HOT WATER OUT THE FAUCET BUT ONCE IT REACHES IT- HOT WATER CONTINUOUSLY ! OUR LAST HOME HAD AN ELECTRIC WATER HEATER AND BY THE END OF BATHS , YOU WOULD HAVE TO WAIT FOR MORE HOT WATER ! I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT

Ability to get hot hot water on demand. The unit is an outside propane unit 6 months old and under continuous use. There is nothing to dislike about the unit, it more than meets my expectations.

We had a Rinnai tankless for about 5-10 years before this one. We were one of the first and were not told to have it flushed every 1-2 years. Because of that, it crapped out and was not warrantied. Make sure to have it serviced. Also, if you are replacing 2 hot water heaters (as we did) with a tankless, take care to know which lines go where, as the water will be slow to heat up in some locations. Otherwise, great product.

My friends that are in the plumbing business said get a Rinnai so I did... I am glad we have one in our home and absolutely love the fact we never run out of hot water and its so quite you never even know if its running or not when outside.

I like the external wired remote that can be installed inside the house or in the garage. The remote controller lets you make temperature adjustments, lock the settings, and monitor if the system is working with the light indicator. It's been installed for about 6 months now but I haven't determined my actual energy savings yet. My expectations was met by allowing me to utilize more garage space with an outside unit being installed. Also not burning a pilot light 100% of the definitely is energy saving too!
