I like the pre start buttons for ready to use hot water but wish that I had a couple more. We have had the heater for about 15 months and haven’t had a single issue with it yet. I am also about to have the annual service done so depending on that outcome, will determine if it’s something I don’t like.

I have had the Rinnai natural gas tankless system now for 8months. It is amazing. Instant hot water and extremely efficient. So happy about this upgrade. Won’t go back to a tank.

Regret buying Rinnai heater,,does not meet expectations. Can not pair internet with heater so have to wait for my “instant” hot water to warm. So sorry I chose Rinnai.
Takes up a lot less space than a tank heater and only runs when needed. While in the same room, it's as quiet as a window fan, otherwise silent. Only issue is that there's a 8-10 second window of cold water before hot water starts. This can be reduced by setting up a circulation pattern in the app, or just pre-running before a shower. If the flow is too low (ie, a luke warm instead of hot shower), the hot also turns off, giving straight cold water instead.

This is our first tankless water heater. We had it for 6 months and are very happy with it. Our utility room is in the house so the noise from the exhaust fan took some getting used to, but we have adjusted and we look forward to many years of service from it.

Very high quality product. This is my second system (in second home), having had one for a while in my primary residence. A bit disappointed that the app cannot handle multiple homes. That said, I will still take this over their competition.

I have the tankless water heater and the attachment to remotely control the water heater. First off, the tankless water heater does it's job, and I have no complaints with it. Heating is a bit slower but it is heating up the water from my entire house so that's understandable. My biggest gripe is with the software as well as the attachment to remotely control the heating unit. I've tried many times to update the software in the attachment only to be stuck in an infinite loop, documentation online is horrendous, resetting the device does nothing, the software itself is buggy. I also bought the push button that remotely triggers the heater, and not surprisingly that stopped working after a couple of days also. The android application (both old and new) have very poor reviews on the app store and rightfully so, it's very buggy and doesn't work half the time. Very unfortunate.
