Once you have hot water it says hot. But it takes 2 minutes 20 seconds to get hot water in bathroom. We have had it 1 year. It does not meet our expectations. We we from a propane regular water heater to tankless and the vendor did not explain you need electricity for the water heater to come on and work. Would not buy another tankless!
