I Haven’t had to do anything since it was installed. It’s set at 115 degrees and we never run out if hot water. We have been using it for about 1 year. It had totally has met our expectations.

It doesn't get as hot as our old Noritz. I have to turn it almost all the way up to get real hot water. The old Noritz we only had to turn about half way. But Tankless is the only way to go. I only give it a 4 star because they never sent me my $50 rebate.

we wanted a tankless water heater and when we built our house in 2010 we got one and love it. We always have hot water and with everything running we lose pressure but we still have hot water.

Great water heater & works as expected. I got the 9.8 gallon propane outside heater & got rid of a conventional 40 gallon electric & also gained about 4-6 square feet inside. Only issues: installation instructions didn't have a plumbing illustration and electrical instructions for the solenoid valves & additional circuit board for cold weather install. Had to contact Rinnai for the additional instructions.

We had the top of the line Rinnae tankless water heater installed in October 2020. Consumer reports rated it as the best so we were really looking forward to having it installed. Reality—-we can have either boiling water or ice water. When we try to adjust the faucet from very hot to a little cooler, it goes to very cold. It takes 10 minutes or more to get hot water in any case. If the hot water is on in the kitchen faucet, and any other hot water is turned on, everything turns to cold water and then everything has to be turned off. Then, run water for 10 to 15 minutes before getting hot. When i asked a question on line, i was routed to a site that charged me $35 for 1 simple question .
This heater replaced one that was going on 13 years old. It was very close to the same size not much adjustments to the siding. Can easily set water temperature. We have had couple months. We haven’t any dislikes unless this one doesn’t last 13 or more years . I one thing people don’t understand is the instant hot water part, ours is propane the water does heat instant but just like any hot water heater the hot has to push all the cold out of the pipes before the hot makes it to the faucet then as long as you have water and gas stays hot continuously.
