"Plenty of hot water"

I’m used to tankless hot water heaters. True, you need to run the hot water for a minute or so before it gets really hot, but you NEVER run out of hot water. Only wish this unit was closer to 98-99% energy efficient.

Works well but just a little slower to get hot water than my old electric heater, mostly because of the location not quite as centrally located.

"So far the unit does exactly what we are expected."

This a new home but I did have the same unit in my previous home. There are 2 main advantage using thankless water heater: 1. Saving money on your Gas bill. 2. Avoiding water leaks that can caused 150 gallons in your garage.

"Space Saver Tankless Water Heater"

Notatanklesswatercritic Jan 10, 2022

4.0

Had the product almost 6 months. Great space saver. The temperature is set at 120 and heats quickly to the 3 showers in the home but does not efficiently bring heated water to any of the sinks. This may be something within the set up of the home. Otherwise we are happy with the system.

My hot water heater is in my attic and I don't want any problems so I purchased this system. The Rinnai is the best. Had it about 6 months and am very pleased.

"Not effective takes lot of time to get hot water"

Dislike - takes lot of time to get hot water and we have to run water for longer time (wasting water for 3-5 min) to get hot water

"Summer cottage owner"

We like the compactness of our unit and it's quietness. as a do it yourself person, I found it difficult to purchase the correct exhaust pipe, We installed it last summer, (2021), in our cottage and have not used it a lot but when we do use it enjoy the continuous hot water.

"So Far, Excellent!"

Swampdonkey Nov 19, 2021

Installed myself with ubbink venting, a generic maintenance valve kit, upgraded gas to a 2 psi system, so no new gas plumbing, very straightforward. Only been in service 4 months, but so far its endless hot water from as many faucets as I can open.

"Poor performance"

rgos21 Nov 18, 2021

We have lived in a brand new home for over a month now with warm water. We expected near instant hot water with the level of electric/tankless water heater we spent extra money for. Before we take showers, we wait an average of 5 minutes and 40 seconds for the water to warm up after turning it on the max hot water setting. This is a waste of water for the environment and comes at an extremely high price for us as water is very expensive in our neighborhood.
