The water heater works great, provides plenty of hot water at all times, and was really easy to install. It's been installed for around 6 months and it's mad a big difference in reducing our monthly electric bill (it replaced a 50 gallon electric hot water heater). It's too early to tell how much propane it uses because we're still on the first tank of propane since it was installed but I'm sure it will be much less than the cost of electricity would have been with the old tank heater.

We replaced an old tankless with a new Rannai. It was easy to install and have answered any questions when we called. We have hot water when we need it and nothing sits when we don't.

I install the heater myself and it came up with a error of no flame. Had to install new plastic vent pipe and a bigger 3/4 inch gas line. It cost me $2000 to have this done by a local company. Ouch!!!

We decided to try a tankless water heater when our traditional unit stopped working, and chose Rinnai based on the great ratings and advice from a friend who performs installations. It's been installed for about 2 months. We've been thrilled with our purchase! I like that the unit is small and is mounted way up on the wall. Our utility room seems much larger without the big traditional water heater. It's pretty quiet when it's running. It takes a few seconds for the hot water to reach the tap, but we've adjusted to that. Initially the unit couldn't be set higher than 120 degrees F, but I was able to open the cover and flip the switch so I could set it higher. We've never run out of hot water since we installed the unit. I would certainly recommend a Rinnai unit. It's solidly built and a very good value.

I have owned a Rinnai for 3 months now and we love it. It heats quickly and takes up very little space. We love it.

After about 10 years of another brand that was slowly having issues, I decide upon a Rinnai after getting some recommendations. After installation, it was so nice to know that as soon as the hot water tap was turned on, we would get, you guessed it, hot water! Temperature is perfect and it allows mixing in cold water if you need without causing asny problems at the heater end.
