The tubular channel (in the area where water is poured) where the mist passes through does not come apart and is impossible to clean with vinegar paper towels or Q-tips. Finally had to resort to spraying with Tilex with CLORAX to rid of bacteria. Why can’t you design one that comes apart or is more easily assessible?

I’ve had this heater for about 2 months now. Changing out my 50+ year old gas furnace, this unit is saving me money on natural gas and I feel safe. It was an adjustment getting use to the sound of the new system, but now I don’t really notice it. I have hot water baseboard heating as there aren’t any bubbles running through the lines that there use to be. The unit purges air bubbles all on its own.
It has an on-demand hot water within the same unit. Once the warm water gets to where it’s going , from my garage, the water temp remains consistently the same temperature. So nice to not run out of hot water! I have it on Eco, but there is a setting for Comfort, which gets warm water to areas faster.
My new system was recommended to me by my plumber, who also has some Rinnai in his home. I’m so glad he suggested it. I’m confident that it will take me through the winter of New Jersey just fine.

Very quiet. Very efficient. We never run out of hot water in the shower even with dishwasher and washing machine running at the same time. 4 months we have had it. It has out performed my expectations.

No c wire port | customer service was professional and polite however, not informative at all | as a new home owner I want to make changes to my thermostat. This system does not accommodate wifi thermostats without an adjust from a rinnai worker to come to the home meaning $$$$$$$$
