"State of the art design. "

Happy heater Mar 27, 2022

I love the fact that you set it and forget it with included outside air temperature reset. We have put this in for our radiant floor heat and my highest monthly gas bill was $67 and I keep house temperature 72 degrees. This is due to the advanced modulating controls. I can not say enough good things about this unit and their technical support.

Nice system, very quiet, even heat and unlike my very old boiler there is no pilot light.

"The furnace is now starting to work to it's full potential. I would like to do the survey in Feb 2022. I will then know how it performs as winter is setting in . "

"Rhiannon Giddens with Francesco Turrisi - virtual performance "

Jon Feb 23, 2021

During these times when we cannot gather together for concert performances, a virtual performance is just right. I am a big fan of Rhiannon Giddens and new to her music wit with Francesco Turrisi. Her classically train voice and soulful singing of the blues and songs from the past that few others now sing, is rare treat. I have seen her live many a number of times and would go far out of my way to do it again, if only that was possible. I was very pleased with their virtual performance on February 20, 2021 that was hosted by Music Worcester. They delivered and then some,

"Four months since installation completed...So Far So Good."

The unit seems to be cost effective and operating well to date. Somewhat disappointed in the contractors installation and follow-up.

"It is so reassuring to have a quality, Japanese boiler after what I did have."

I say Japanese because the best products come from Japan, something that I have known for many, many years. My boiler is 95.9% efficiency which means that I can leave it on 62 degrees in very cold Northern New York State and feel very comfortable. It is very economical to operate. My boiler is the Model i090S at 90K BTU. When I received estimates last year, all of the companies/contractors I contacted wanted to replace my old boiler with something just as bad as the one I had or they wanted to give me a really low BTU which would not have heated the entire house. Then, they wanted to charge me exorbitant amounts of money for the honor and privilege of allowing them to replace my old boiler with something that would not do the job. Word of warning: don't ever use Home Depot. Their contractors charge more than a lot any of the others. Anyway, one contractor came up with the Rinnai and convinced me that it is an excellent boiler. It heats my downstairs perfectly and also has a separate control for my son's apartment upstairs. Rinnai is so well made that they give a 12-year heat exchanger warranty, 5-year parts warranty and 1-year labor warranty. I swear by the Rinnai boilers. I wouldn't want anything else. Of course, I won't need a new boiler for a very, very long time.

"My garage is cold and that's good"

When my home was built some 25 years ago it had a state-of-the art boiler to heat my 2800 sf house hydronically. In too-few years the exchanger needed to be replaced. it was more economical to replace it with the then-standard (big hot water tank) boiler. Eventually periodic breakdowns from wear meant a new source. I was very skeptical that a wall-mounted, on demand system could possible do the job but it did. The efficiency of the system is most evident by the fact that my garage, where the boiler is located, is no longer comfortably warm during the winter. The other benefit is that I can see the unit in operation. The water pressure is constantly displayed until the heating process begins. The flame icon glows and I can watch the water temperature increase in a visual display and my propane use is significantly reduced because of that efficiency. One caveat: outside temperature is fed into the boiler to guide the heating needs--besides, of course, the call from the zone thermostats. Placement of that outside sensor has to be placed following carefully designated guidelines--or so, at least, my competent installers noted. J'm in the moderate Northwest (Port Townsend). In a colder clime I would need supplemental heating in my 1100 sf garage/workshop.

"Small delay for hot water, but otherwise works fantastic..."

Love the profile and space saving benefits, I don't like the wasted water before the hot water arrives. Works great though, and very quiet.
