Would Change

Since we went under contract on a home that was almost complete we had zero communication with AV/Savvy or the PM directly. It was very frustrating as the only way was for us to go through the on-site agent who then contacted you. We were pressured to sell our current house and close as soon as possible but then the house was nowhere near ready for closing on the closing date. A laundry list of items still exist and it has been a constant battle to get our home completed. We have resorted to fixing some items ourselves which should not have been out of our pocket for a brand new home. The most critical of those is a very damp crawlspace with wood moisture level readings that will cause mold to grow. This is due to poor drainage of the lot. We have had very little communication as to when this major issue will be resolved. We are very concerned it will not be handled/remediated correctly.

Would Change

I did not have a good experience with the closing attorney AV Homes selected . Felt their completion of the closing lacked any sense of urgency . Did not receive any final closing information to my lender or self til an hour and half prior to closing. The attorney had ample time considering my closing was delayed by 3 weeks.
