My real estate agent was very professional and extremely embarrassed by how we were treated by Bonterra.

Would Change

The sales person was not knowledgable and shockingly ignorant of explaining the Bonterra building process. Should a house ad did not inform me of what was the extras and what is considered standard. Horrid communication of any facts..... only purchased this home because they were preferred builder for AllenTate, I have now meant with VP's of Allen Tate to share with them this atrocity of an experience.

Scott Threatt, period!

Would Change

Scott Threatt was exceptional to work with. I couldn’t of asked for a better individual to handle areas that needed addressed or fixed. An absolute professional that I would hire in a minute to supervise a custom Home build. Drew Basinger was strictly by the book and didn’t go out if his way to fix a major address issue we had (someone within Bonterra provided some agencies, including the USPS, with the wrong street name, North Torrance instead of North Terrace. This has and continues to be a major issue as several deliveries have been lost and I can’t even register my new address with the NC DMV). The tiled wall and flooring was so bad it needed to be redone in all 3 bathrooms. While Scott was exceptional your tile contractor, Charlotte Flooring ( I believe) was horrible. Bonterra should eliminate them from their bid list. The worst I’ve ever seen and I have built 6 new homes. I can’t say enough bad things about Charlotte flooring.
