Everyone has been great. There were obviously little things with the house at the final walkthrough which is to be expected, but much more minor than I anticipated. Any issues or questions we did have at the walk through and upon moving it were addressed right away. I have always felt like if I had additional questions or anything that needed to be addressed I could always reach out. Not just from the sales team or warranty, even the construction guys have made sure to reach out or say hi leaving other job sites when I’m out front and ask if I needed anything.
It’s minor, but I don’t like curb you have to drive up and over to get on to your driveway.
The Brookfield team was amazing from start to finish and into the warranty period. The sales team (Kathy & Ann as her backup) kept us up to date on the whole build process, including sending weekly pictures of the progress, which was especially appreciated since we lived out of town. The construction crew did a great job and spent so much time with us on both walk-throughs. Casey , our superintendent, was very thorough on the pre-insulation walk-through, explaining every little detail, inside and out. Jerrod & Luis, our other superintendents, were great to work with on the second part of the build. We can't thank them enough for spending so much time with us on the walk-through prior to close. They answered all our questions and we didn't feel rushed to get through the process. And, can't forget about Alyssa, our warranty representative. Wow! She did not let anything slide on that walkthrough. I'm positive she marked way more items to be touched up than we did, down to cleaning up little paint speckles here and there. The whole team has been amazing to work with. We feel and see the quality of the workmanship and very much appreciate the competence and friendliness of the entire Brookfield team!
From a home layout perspective, the bedrooms feel a bit small and the entry hallway is very long, narrow & dark. Also, there isn't a window by the front door to be able to see who has rang the doorbell and the front door does not have a peephole either. We would have also preferred to have had solar, or at least a solar option.

I love that our initial tour of our home was of a high quality with minimal needs for fixing. I also love that they had us close all doors, open and close windows, flush toilets, turn on lights, etc. really analyzing all aspects of the home. They found more needs for improvement than my husband and I did. Then with closing and the final walk through it felt like being welcomed into a family. The attention to detail, care of our home, and the continue to support and check in have made this home buying process wonderful. I hope to not have to move again but if I do it will be with Brookfield Residential.
