Unfortunately my experience was subpar on the sales side with lots of gaps in communication. I have already passed this information on to the corporate office. The construction side went well until After I moved in and had many challenges reaching anyone about accessibility to my home while other buildings were under construction . I am still waiting on landscape to go in (seasonal) but I also don’t feel like I get any information unless I ask and reach out several times.

The builders were the best part of the process. Meeting Luis and Alyssa for our walk throughs and they were the most helpful and knowledgeable people we met in the process. They have addressed all of our concerns in a timely fashion and made it a smooth transition. The lending process felt like a rush and the lenders did not care about helping us get a good rate. They would often create a false sense of urgency and unprofessionally demand documentation from us at inappropriate times like 8pm on a Sunday and tell us we have 24 hours to turn in what they needed (mind you this was over 30 days early). They also tried to get us to wire our closing money over 30 days in advance. The sales team seemed unknowledgable about the builds or unwilling to be transparent with us at least. We were told there were no waitlists for homes in case another fell through (not true) and I feel we were talked out of getting the home we wanted/needed (another unit) so they could close a sale. No care for us and our first home at all.

It was always great to see Meghan and Obi when I'd come to walk the house each Sunday. Meghan and Bill were both incredibly friendly and remembered me by name. Ed was the gentleman who called each Monday to provide updates, but they were generally not accurate to what I had seen when I walked the house the day prior. We did not hear anything about the closing date until the week of Thanksgiving about our closing date, and it was 6 weeks after our initially expected timeline, meaning my wife and I had no home to live in for 5 weeks. I met Alyssa, Luis, and Adam at the orientation walk and have seen them all many times since moving in. They are all awesome, helpful, and friendly! Alyssa has been AMAZING to work with since moving in. I cannot stress enough how awesome and empathetic she has been to my wife and I about any concern we've brought to her. THANK YOU SO MUCH, ALYSSA!!!

I've had encounters with other home builders in the past. This was by far my best experience. As with all new home builds there will be setbacks and change. Brookfield was by our side through the entire process and made sure we were informed and taken care of. During each milestone walkthrough I was pleasantly surprised to see the superintendent and all Brookfield staff being incredibly knowledgeable on building laws, codes, and requirements. They were sure to note any issues that not only I brought to their attention but even quite a few that I did not notice that they pointed out to me and explain their plan to correct. I'm very pleased with my new home and the entire experience. Even after closing they have still been very attentive. Would recommend!
