Overall, our experience with Brookfield Residential was good. The team was professional and supportive throughout the process, and we are happy with our new home. Since this was a spec home, some details were not clearly explained at the beginning. The show homes we viewed had railings (instead of a stub wall), a fireplace, and feature walls, but our spec home did not include those features. This difference was not clearly communicated upfront, which created some confusion. It would also help if there was clearer communication about what is included in the home versus what is just staging furniture in show homes. Overall, we appreciate the team’s efforts and are excited to start this new chapter in our new home.

Overall we are fairly happy with our experience. The only thing that annoyed us was the driveway not being cleared. We understood that Brookfield does not like to use salt on the driveway, but our driveway on possession day was an ice rink because they also forgot to put gravel down. It was mentioned that they could put the gravel down, but we wanted the ice cleared so we had to spend a lot of time getting the driveway down to the concrete. We still have huge ice patches at the sidewalk that is just so thick we couldnt break through it and was waiting for a really warm day.

I am very impressed with the fact that how easy is it but a home from a builder and Brookfield made it very easy and convenient. Very approachable, and responsive in their replies. And they would like to work with the clients.
