During our home buying process Alex was great; he was responsive when we reached out and overall made our experience a lot better. I would recommend Brookfield Residential to anyone who is in the home buying process. There have been a few issues that we have encountered since move in where we have had to reach out to someone for help; we have been moved in for about a month now and no one from the builder side/home warranty side has reached out to us to check in like they said they would. Other than that we are very happy with the experience.

Honestly, this is my second time purchasing a newly built home. Working with Michael, the Project Manager, has been a great experience. We were moving from Maryland to NC, and we communicated quite a bit through emails. Mike was swift to respond to concerns and he kept us informed as the progress of our home was being built. The couple of concerns we did have, Mike addressed promptly. When we did the final walk-thru we met Emily who will handle any warranty issues. She is great and I'm sure we'll be in great hands. We are settling down and really enjoying our new home and community.

Had multiple problems from the beginning of the building process. Serious problems that I found and had to tell the builder, because they didn't catch it. Serious foundation issues that we had to get our own independent engineer and contractor to write up reports and instructions of how to properly repair the damage to the foundation and foundation wall. Communication between us and Brookfield AND between Brookfield and their construction teams were beyond poor. Our issue was serious enough that upper management head of sales was contacted and helped resolve most, but not all issues. We moved in with several issues still not completed or repaired. We are now two months in our new house and it's an ongoing struggle to get repairs done. Again, communication with our project manager is poor. So much so that multiple attempts to get any kind of response week after week has to escalate to me finally emailing the head of sales to finally get a response from the project manager. The house was built poorly and sloppy. Rushing to get everything completed and not paying attention to quality of build or doing things right the first time. We have several walls that are not square, poor insulation with drafts coming from under the floorboards, concrete, adhesive and mortal stains all over our driveway and front porch, uneven LVP floors upstairs, kitchen island quartz countertop was installed with excessive overhang with no support that voids manufacturer warranty, kitchen and primary bath tile work was crooked and poorly laid, a ceiling fan prewire installed inches from the attic stairs making it impossible to put in a ceiling fan in that room, etc. The overall quality of house looks nice but feels cheaply made. I have bought four new build homes and have been through every step of the building process every single time and this by far was the worst experience.
