Once we get the post-construction issues addressed, we will love this home and this community.

Would Change

Communication post-closing. Unfortunately the project manager (Kelli) we had been dealing with up to the pre-closing inspection left Brookfield. I would recommend replacing her position. Roger, her supervisor, is a lovely guy and tries to be responsive, but it is clear he has too much on his plate.

We were very happy that our journey from the time we signed the contract to the day we moved in was relatively smooth. Considering that 2020 was a difficult year because of the pandemic, the construction went like clockwork. We were kept informed on a regular basis by the Easton Village sales manager, who did an excellent job. The Bridgeport home we chose is exactly right for us.

Would Change

We would like more street lights. It is pitch dark at night, except for one lamp. A major problem has been that Fox Squirrel Way does not exist on GPS as yet. This caused us a lot of stress and time wasted in regard to deliveries when we first moved in. If there was an emergency it might mean life or death if the services could not find someone's house. This should be addressed!

Insulation is well done. Flooring was well done.

Would Change

Electrical co installed lighting in the wrong locations after the prewall inspection. I paid extra for three light/exhaust fans in the three bathrooms but the wrong styles were installed. The vanity lights were installed too high even though measurements were submitted. Electric boxes behind fixtures were not recessed enough into the wall. The circuit breaker trips frequently under normal use. Another electric co should be used. Choosing tile at L&L tile co was difficult in the physical space as tile was not displayed well. The salesman was not very helpful and referred to many samples as being expensive and not listening to the customer’s wishes. Cabinetry is cheap and contractor grade. Few choices for stone countertops.
