We thought the overall experience was wonderful. The pre-phase of going through all the details and things we wanted in the home to the build process and afterwards has been on point. Any time we saw an issue during the build, we brought it to our project manager’s attention and he was already aware of it and working on it. Customer service was great throughout the whole process, and we feel we have a very well built quality home.

Honestly one of best experiences i've ever had for a large purchase. I've heard stories about builders, but they were faster than i expected, help me out for things that were not under their control (my errors) , and generally just awesome, nice genuine people. They seem to care more about your experience through the process and getting the home you want, versus others that seem to be just about pumping out homes.

HVAC system was overcharged and required immediate service call. Other than that the Brown Haven building experience was very smooth. The home is great quality and we are looking forward to many years of enjoyment.

The following we found when we moved in: there were broken, malfunction and scratched windows. The floor trim around the cabinets is not painted completely to cover the nails. There is an open gap/ hole between the floor trim and the bottom cabinets all along the bottom cabinets where animals and food go in. In the past, all of our newly built homes had no open gap / holes between the floor trim and our bottom cabinets, and the floor trims were completely and beautifully painted. The main entry door and trim was painted but they didn't cover scratches and the plastic around it is ripped. What we are experiencing in this newly built home is unacceptable. We had asked for this open gap / hole to be closed. And they sent one guy to look at it and he said he will call the cabinet guys but 3 weeks later, we haven't heard from them. No one is calling us. The dishwasher couldn't fit in and we had given them dimensions for all the appliances early in the selection process, so they sent some guys and they cut our floor down to the cement to make our dishwasher fit, which to me is unacceptable. I think they should had taken the entire cabinet and redo them instead of cutting my floor down to the cement. Unacceptable. In my opinion they are taking shortcuts at a very high cost. These construction negligences will not be taken lightly.
Staff have been extremely friendly and responsive. Quality and workmanship has been average. They wouldn't arrange and pay for my propane gas hook up. They didnt even provide a mailbox out front and didn't provide options for providing a paved concrete driveway. Our project manager was incredible, very happy with Cooper.
The whole experience was awesome. People say don't ever build a house because of the stress level. NOT with Brown Haven. Everything goes super smooth.

In general we've built 3 homes. Brown Haven was better than the other builders by far. They have been easy to work with, responsive during the build (not with warranty though), built the house on time and descent fit and finish.
