We have at least two walls that are not square. The caulking job is awful. They did not think through some items in this model home (location of turn on/off in master shower, size of doors for study, add option of 2 pocket doors to make guest rooms and their baths private, guest bedrooms are too small, find someplace on main floor for hvac. This is a 55+ community. We cannot climb up a ladder to the attic. Or make a set of stairs to walk up to attic. Design Center person/sales person did not explain what was included in the upgraded kitchen. (We would have added undercabinet lighting but it was never mentioned and we assumed was included with upgraded kitchen (as in our last Taylor Morrison home). The actual bldr did make some exceptions for us (arranging closet pole rods, changing location of floor outlet, changing color or garage door as it didn’t match any other color of the exterior, stains in front porch concrete look awful. Bottoms of kitchen cabinets are unpainted yet next to them the cabinets with glass fronts are painted. Can be seen when sitting down. David Weekly Homes install cabinet pulls—Caldwell should also. Clients should have input as to where towel bars are placed. They are way too high. Door hardware should not be painted although that might be the norm for this area. Overall, just feel shoddy workmanship.

In the rush to close at the end of the year, the quality of plants and trees were completely unacceptable. No response from builder. Seems they take care of building issues but ignore landscaping.Use of rip-rap in one area was not underlaid with plant inhibiter or cloth, turning in to a real mess.

The quality of products used is inferior.They didn’t tell Us that a sewage treatment plant is 900 feet from our home as a 7 ft wood fense hid it.the smell is terrible .They will be responsible for deceptive trade practices.A lawsuit will be upcoming if they don’t make this smell go away .A group of homeowners here are banding together.They need to respond soon.
