Overall our experience was very good. It was a bit annoying to have Val brush off one of our concerns at the Orientation/Blue Tape Meeting only to have to put a warranty request in with a month of being in the house.

The experience for me with Caviness and Cates Homes has been extremely positive. The entire process, from selecting my design to the closing went smooth and well-managed. Most importantly for me was their great communication with me. Everything was well explained, no confusion and seamless. Communication with the builders team was also clear and responsive, even after my closing. They were accurate as far as completion date and kept me informed during the whole process. While the overall experience was a positive one, an area where the builder could improve would be the back yards of the homes where the land is not level in many areas. The ground could have been grated better and top soil added as mine is hard clay . Based on my experience, Caviness and Cates is highly recommended as a great builder.
