The sales person gave us incorrect information about the home which we found out later. Generally she did not appear to be as knowledgeable as she should have been for selling and answering questions for new home sales. She also did not get back to us on some items and eventually needed to turn to others.

biggest nightmare of my life several things are damaged in this home example scratched dented or broke. foundation and front step have a crack in them. House not cleaned as promised. realator for Creative Homes Laura lied to myself and my realtor saying home would be clean which it never was, said lawn would be in by end of may it's now June 14th still no lawn. I at this point have no intention of making this my long term home.

From the start everything went very well. There were a couple side steps but they were worked through.

Review of Overall Experience

We had numerous issues throughout the build process with Creative Homes. It has been our dream to build our forever home and to have it be a memorable experience. It was definitely a memorable, stressful, roller coaster experience. Some concessions were extended to us, but too many mistakes were made to cover them all. It was by no means an easy, enjoyable process. Between the pricing issues, laundry room door placement not fitting washer/dryer, basement door, driveway widening promises, wrong counter top pricing and install, cabinet colors and samples not matching, selecting backsplash that was discontinued and being surprised with the replacement. Lifestyle homes have a selection/options packet in which 60% or more of the options didn’t actually match what we received vs. what we were originally told, promised and showed. There are no checks and balances process. When Sophia enters the selections to purchasing there is no way to know what was promised and what expectations were set/given to the buyers. When you have new employee trying learn, someone should be going line item by line item verifying EVERY option in the home. Bathroom. Counters you get this counter top, kitchen counter top will be this, etc. some of the bedside manners of Sophia’s emails and texts could be a lot more customer friendly. I do appreciate that the owner Nick stepped up and took care of some of the issues for us and made some things right but the parts leading up to me reaching out to Nick directly couldn’t been handled a lot better. You really need to train for problems when they arise on how to handle them and what to say to your customers.. that would definitely help the overall experience buyers have.

Lots of items in home need to be addressed should have been addressed right after move in. Pretty disappointing. It’s as simple as an employee promised I’d get an answer on in-level flooring back in March. Still waiting for that issue let alone a phone call from the man.
