Home - There are many things that I would love to change about the home. There were many upgrades that were not offered during the initial signing phase and I was assured that my home will look very similar to the model home. The completed house was no where close to the model home. There were many things that were below par. All the packages (light fixtures, bathroom fixtures, switches, cabinet designs, doors) offered were very standard. Service - The sales person has been very friendly and responsive since the start of the process. However, there were many things that were outside his authority/control right after the contract was signed. The progress of the construction was not automatically shared by the CCH team, I had to chase the team to get timely updates about the progress of the construction. I got to know about certain upgrades taken by other buyers and asked if this was still possible, however, it was too late to opt in. Eventually, the project got delayed by almost 2 months leading into the winter. Right before the possession week, there were certain unexpected mortgage related hiccups which were beyond my control at the time (and were resolved in a timely manner). What really surprised me was the attitude of the CCH team during the most stressful time/period of my life. Rather than understanding the situation, I was slapped with the demand letter that I needed to arrange the mortgage amount within a week during the Christmas Holidays when the CCH offices were officially closed. The whole experience and excitement of moving into our first house was turned into a nightmare by CCH finance team. My appliance credit, which I should receive on the move in date, was given to me after Jan 6th because of the festive break. If you can take $3000+ in interest from me because of my delay, then I should also get interest for the appliance money that was on hold with the builder. After possession - I was given the complementary front landscaping promotion to close the deal in Dec 2023. It mentions in the possession binder that Crystal Creek Homes will provide the final grading certificate approval letter after which customer may proceed with the backyard landscaping. The construction manager is now contradicting that information that customer is responsible for everything. This is very unprofessional move by the CCH team and affects the relation further in a negative way.
