My experience with the people at Eagle I dealt with are very thorough. I have been in here since 5/31 and they still have green tape on things. Some things in the house I think they should have carefully thought out as if they were living here.
The whole Eagle team was very professional and courteous.
2+ years from contract to closing -- a bit long. But, we understand that the Town of Blacksburg contributed to the delay, as did post Covid supply chain issues. However, what we believe to be primarily under Eagle's sole purview is that the pre-closing walkthrough produced many more punch list issues than we have experienced in our many previous walk throughs.

Good experience from beginning to end. Their representatives are very professional and experienced. Only wish they had been a little forthcoming with all of the intricacies of the purchase. For instance, the HOA fee is not what we were quoted. Also, the follow-up could be a little better. Have had no instructions on the irrigation system. I have some minor problems with the home, but I will advise them of those and see if corrections are taken care of quickly.
Ordinary items should not be charged extra. Example safety bar in shower. I signed contract in late February but shower bar was not ordered till I pointed lack of at closing walk through.

We like our house and the neighbors are friendly and outgoing. It has been a challenge moving into a new house surrounded by active construction.
From my design consultant to my project manager, everyone has been courteous, professional, and extremely helpful. I am thrilled with my new home!
My overall experience with Eagle and its development at Midtown Blacksburg was a very disappointing and very frustrating experience. My initial contact with Eagle was In December 2019 when I noticed their advertising banner announcing the Midtown development. The first conversation I had I was lead to believe I would be in my condo by fall 2020 in time for football season. I closed in April 2023 , one year and one month after the estimated closing date in my contract. When I questioned the slow progress over that 3 year period, Eagle always placed blame on town of Blacksburg. I felt that the Eagle team was never completely honest with me and was very disappointed in the recent colege graduate that was my assigned project manager. Too young and not enough experience to take on a project of this size. I think that had a lot to do with the 2 year construction time frame. Now that I have moved in I see first hand the slow development of other units in the development which I don’t understand since there is a waiting list for buyers in this development. Sorry to be so negative but this was an extremely frustrating experience.
