Lots and lots of things went wrong prior to moving in to our new home. There was a transition in project managers, the house flooded, no hot water, HVAC issues, sink not installed, then poorly installed and had to be redone, the list goes on, however we have not completed the 60 day punch list, due to several personal reasons. I will doing that within the next couple of weeks.
After years of research, we chose Eagle to build our dream home because of their strong reputation and positive reviews. Our initial experiences with sales and design were excellent and aligned with the process described at the start of our purchase. Unfortunately, the same level of transparent and timely communication did not continue after the design phase. It was unclear why our home missed the expected July closing—especially since surrounding homes with similar closing dates were completed within weeks of their initial closing date and did not experience months-long delays. Adding to the frustration, most of the significant mistakes were discovered by us rather than by our project manager at the time, which led to stressful and unpleasant negotiations to correct them. While a change in project managers improved communication somewhat, we continued to face challenges with correcting sloppy craftsmanship—work that does not reflect the quality we’ve seen in other Eagle homes. Despite repeated requests for sloppy craftsmanship to be corrected, we have been left with a significant amount of repair to manage ourselves. Other professionals have since noted that some of the repairs were made hastily, leaving us with costly fixes to achieve the quality our home should have had at purchase. Additionally, when we asked about lot pros and cons, we expected full disclosure. We were dismayed to discover the incredibly loud traffic noise from Route 288 after moving in. We hope Eagle will consider implementing noise-reducing measures for future homes in similar locations. We appreciate the efforts made to resolve issues, but the overall experience fell short of the expectations set by Eagle’s reputation. We would be happy to share more detailed information about the issues we encountered in hopes that it helps improve future projects and customer experiences.
Every member of the Eagle team was outstanding. Jon in sales, Suzanna from the design center, and Lucas, our program manager made the homeowner experience error-free. A great team.
I purchased the last home in a community. It had been used as a model home, so my experience does not encompass a full home building cycle. The people I dealt with from Eagle were very responsive, but my interaction was minimal. The home is fine, albeit with a few design flaws. Quality is what I would expect based on price point.
We were impressed by the employees who worked with us. Tiffani demonstrated incredible patience as we asked questions to help determine the house, location, and possible options we would want. In the design center, Emily was great! She helped focus decisions and kept the process from feeling overwhelming. Lucas was our project manager. He was the best. Honestly, he went above and beyond to answer questions, allowing us access whenever we requested it. We know we were a bit high maintenance buyers. He kept us up to date and cared about details. Eagle is not the corporate players. It is the people working with customers. I hope all of these people receive the recognition they earned and deserve.

Jack and Suzanna are rock stars, very detail oriented and provided excellent, consultative advice. At times we struggled with responsiveness with the original sales team, and resolution has been slow on some items still outstanding on initial move-in list. We didn’t see certain follow-ups that were requested or expected, most notably the countertop inspection and a request to consult with landscaping team. That said, we appreciated the proactive, extra steps that Jack took to secure us a WiFi hotspot in the absence of fiber being available. We would recommend Eagle without hesitation.

I do have a mixed feeling when I am recommending eagle to my friends. I struggled mostly with sales team. Things that we were promised were hard to get. We had to go through many conversations and hold them accountable.
Effortless experience from picking my lot to walk thru. Each Eagle staffer along way was wonderful
