The quality control was terrible. There are many , many problems with the cabinetry in our unit, that we were very proactive in discussing throughout the build process. However, EQ DID NOT ensure that it was done properly at all. We received no support or concern .

Nice sales and design center concept.. Updates of building photos during COVID.

too many changes in contact person, not because they left the company, job change within the company, no continuity and some inexperience people offering incorrect information and did not know how to address questions or follow through on solution. Gave a very unprofessional impression. Also those deemed professional designers did not offer recommendation that as a new home buyer would have been appreciated.. Was treated, a rush job to make selections and condo was only delivered 2 years later..

EQ personnel were all very pleasant to deal with and we had a great experience during the whole process.

The experience we had with Des Laurier kitchen was harsh, rushed, many errors which we had to evaluate and ensure they correct and the person we dealt with did not assist other than dictate what we should go with or do.

The quality of the construction; even though we would do a few changes in the floor plan, it is a good one; the walking-trail surrounding the project; the facility to reach the highway and amenities. The courtesy, attention and the efforts brought in general to our requests and issues.

Would Change

Some of the standards should be upgraded. For example, a choice of the standard faucets should be allowed between polish or brush nickel especially in the kitchen. That was the first things that we noticed was outstanding when walking in that room and I was told the same by first time visitors (did buy new ones). The model of the exterior light fixtures on the side balcony are from the 1950's. The upgrades are extremely expensive. The standard selection of the wooden floor should be at least the 3 1/4" (we don't see much the 2 1/4" anymore and the upgrades on these are very expensive). Until the exterior painting of the doors, casing and the sod, grass, pavement is completed, the owner should be allowed if wanted, to keep a certain reasonable balance owed on the home. Disappointed that Deslauriers didn't reply more promptly regarding our issue with the oven height which is an unsafe issue--still waiting for a reply from them. Eavesthroughing should be standard feature in every home through every builders.

I wish that we could have been more involved in the building process (more visits) and since I’ve purchased the home, it’s been hard to get ahold of our concierge. It’s like since we are no longer customers, we are forgotten about.
