We had such a lovely and easy experience buying our first home with eQ! Alain, Emma (Design Studio), Sara, and Betty (and Sean and his team of contractors, workers, and trades people!) were all a huge pleasure to deal with and we’re so honoured to have such a dedicated team building our first home!

My husband and I recently purchased a home with EQ Homes in Embrun, and overall we had a very positive experience. From start to finish, their team was responsive, professional, and easy to work with. Whenever we had questions or needed clarification, they were quick to get back to us and made sure we felt informed throughout the process. Buying a home can be stressful, but their helpful and approachable communication really made a difference. We’re happy with our purchase and appreciated the level of service we received. Based on our experience, we would definitely recommend EQ Homes to others considering buying in the area.

Quality of construction poor, low quality of finishers, low finishing quality. House was full of dust when I moved in. Bugs in the house. Now we need a timeline when the external works well be done.

Overall the experience has been positive. There was a fall off in responsiveness after move in to some extent and several items identified in the PDI are still outstanding so we have but them on our 41 day Tarion forms.

I think it has been a great experience overall, and loves the place. However, when the builder is aware that there are still issues to fix, even after handing over the house to the new owner, they should take the initiative to complete the remaining work. Homeowners should not have to repeatedly follow up or ask when the outstanding items will be finished.

My experience has been extremely positive at all stages. EQ Homes has been very responsive. Melissa has been very helpful in answering questions as I took possession of the house. Emma from the Design Studio really understood the vision I had for the house and did an amazing job helping select the finishes. I am really pleased with how it all came together. It also felt like the construction team put a lot of care and attention to detail in building the house. EQ Homes offered a clear roadmap for the building of the house and was on time with all deadlines in the process.
