Having worked with three other home builders in the past, we have a solid basis for comparison, and our overall experience with EQ Homes has been excellent. We are particularly impressed with the electrical work; our home is fully equipped with smart technology, and we love the Lutron system. The smart doorbell enhances both the value and security of our home. Mathieu, our electrical representative, was exceptionally kind, responsive, and patient, and we are very pleased with our experience with him. EQ Homes has been consistently responsive and helpful, addressing any questions or concerns we had throughout the process. We are satisfied with the overall quality of our home. However, there are a few areas where EQ Homes could enhance the client experience. Offering the option to partially finish the basement—such as by completing just the recreation room—would be beneficial. Many builders include a finished recreation room in the price of their single-family homes, and not everyone has the budget to spend approximately $60,000 on a fully finished basement. Additionally, the plumbing selection felt somewhat limited, with a narrow range of faucets to choose from, primarily just the Moen brand. Despite these points, we love our home, and the customer service experience with EQ Homes has been exceptional. We would not hesitate to recommend EQ Homes to our friends and family.
Great quality build-I have friends/relatives who are builders etc and all have commented on the great quality. Also, they were understanding of my personal stressors and managed to work around my family/life stressors as best as they could. Greatly appreciated.

Good experience overall, need to be more upfront with dealing with the buyers/ customers. Customer experience could be better. Responding to prospective buyers / homeowners request could be better.
Overall the experience was good , particularly after stage 1 and 2 completed. Did not fully enjoy stage 1 and 2 as I felt rushed and that the EQ person,s agenda was to get her questions answered and move the process along too quickly. We enjoyed working with Melissa at Pathways the EQ Warranty advisor - she really listened to our questions and provided excellent advise . Also the frequent house walks during the stages of construction were very informative and the EQ people were very knowledgeable and friendly.
Overall our experience was seamless and enjoyable. From purchasing the home, to the design studio, to the build process & once we moved in ... all eQ employees we worked with were friendly, professional and caring in ensuring our experience was a positive and enjoyable one. Being our second time purchasing a home with eQ, Stephanie, Chris and Lindsay especially were fantastic to deal with, more than accommodating and ensured the customer experience was one to remember.
