We were from out of town and were not able to follow the building process very well. We trusted that our home would be built to high standards. We felt pressured to close. My wife came down for the walk thru of the home. She was not familiar with what to look for and accepted the word of Esperanza rep that things would be right when we receive our keys. On exterior: The concrete driveway & patio has severe cracks and is substandard! Exterior paint is poorly done! The sprinkler system was not in working order and was shooting water out to the street. The sod in the back yard is on uneven ground and is not flat so when you walk on is has sink holes and needed to be rolled flat. Interior: Front door key only unlocks the deadbolt only the other lock will not work. Still not fixed. Interior paint is poorly painted to include the baseboards, kitchen cabinets very poorly painted. Never should have been hand painted! The home was not properly cleaned when we arrived. Dusty & dirty floors throughout over spray, filthy windows and seals. There was no attention to detail done in preparing our home & property for occupancy! We are not satisfied with Esperanza and the home we purchased at this time. We were too trusting that our home would have been completed professionally and without substandard workmanship! We have been very busy with things going on in our lives and should not have to be concerned about poor service from Esperanza!

Good experience
It was not a good experience for us. The quality and workmen ship of all the different trades is horrible. What you pick out during your design meeting is not necessarily what you’re going to get and then you’ll be gaslight into them trying to make you think that’s what you picked.
