I had a very good experience with the front ends representative but back ends office. For example during logistics global issue which impacted building materials the back office sent me series updates on the difficulty facing to get material, this is a wonderful move but unfortunately there was never mentioned of the project estimated timeline or adjusted timeline in respect the situation.
Horrible experience with Ryan, but everyone else was please very pleasant,

They’re Nice People but Never Cared about Concerns we had since we moved in to the house. Taking too long to fix issues. Micheal Is the only guy from warranty, who’s trying to help us and is pretty busy with other appointments ( I guess they’re short Staff). So Far he fixed few issues, but still trying to get it done but I believe they’re having Trades availability Issues and it’s taking too long to fix everything Listed before Possession. they’re still working to fix pre possession Issues and I have no idea how long it will take them to fix all.
Overall, it was good experience.
Very poor quality internal closing houses with all the work pending and not fixing the problem no one helpful here if u talk with sales office they tell us to contact construction and I want to say they don’t have very experience people very bad customer service
- It started off good, the cost of house was reasonable, booking process was good. - On the day when we went for upgrades selection we felt as if we have come back to 90's , no technology was being used to show us the selections, our representative also seemed irritated and disinterested as if she just wanted us to leave, we bought $30,000 worth of upgrades and would have bought more if we could see things like vaulted ceilings in a software or at least in pictures, we have recently arrived from India so we did not even know many terms and things which locals would know. - Construction process was decent, we were being provided with regular updates, possession got delayed by 5 months but that's ok , we understand some things are not under control - This was our first house ever and Excel homes ruined that special experience for us forever, we were so excited about our possession day but it was a nightmare, it was so horrible that I cried, the house was not cleaned, cleaners and other workers were still working when we entered, there were raw materials and machineries lying all around, no house tour was given, nothing was explained, kitchen was not ready, no appliances were installed, none of the bathrooms were ready, toilet seats were being installed in front of us , the floor was and still is horrible with so many scratches and paint marks, basement heating was not working, no temporary grading was given for basement entrance, my tenant has moved in in the legal suite and still no grading. basement bathroom did not even have a door, after maybe following up 5-6 times was it installed(my tenant used bathroom without door for 3-4 days) and bathroom vent cover is still missing, I have followed up so many times but no response on that. Before possession I would have my queries answered but after possession no replies to emails in which I just ask excel to work on the pending deficiencies. raw material is still lying around the house. Dylan lied to me that temporary grading for the basement would be done on 20th January but no one showed up, It has become my part time job to follow up on completing deficiencies as except for Jason nobody responds. Exterior of the house has not been painted, all the other neighboring houses have been painted, ours look like an ugly one in between all of them. I have recently moved to Canada from India and in my mind the quality of services in Canada was supposed to be real good but you guys have proved otherwise. I am really having a hard time getting excel work on deficiencies, no one replies to emails then I call them and still no reply, Dylan never answers the calls nor does he ever call back or reply the emails, how am I supposed to get things moving. I am legit asking for HELP! please take this burden off my shoulders , I am so tired, moving is already physically and mentally exhausting and all this on top of that has made our lives very difficult trust me. Please have all the deficiencies listed over email and provide me solid dates as to when each deficiency would be catered, that way I will at least have some peace of mind
Everything was good except labor shortage and the house was delayed. They were responsive to me.
I have to say the overall build with excel was one of the worst experiences I have had. From day one their was no communication and if you wanted to get ahold of someone good luck as no one will give out a email or phone number. We were lucky compared to others as we had another house to live in during the process as our house was to be done in June and sept 26th we moved in. When it comes to communication I only asked for honesty and a guideline, back in March we were told no problem June will happen, then it went to July, then aug and finally sept. On our seven days before possession walk though was absolutely embarrassing, we had no trim, flooring not done, toilets, sinks, shower doors, wrong lighting, doors not installed, no hardware in the house, no kitchen cupboards doors, no appliances, plastics still on the windows and still not cleaned just to name a few as their were 100’s of issues and your more than welcome to see the pictures. The guy who we just met doing our walk through said we should not be doing this as they need another month to finish the house. As for the day of possession it never got much better as their was 86 issues outstanding that we could notice as so much was not done and as a home owner we are shaking our heads on where do we start. We are now almost four months into moving in and their are still major issues with the basement floor, upstairs walls, kitchen cabinets and main floor flooring to name a few. We spent 835,000 on the house wanted it to be our forever house and that is not the case. We are working through the issues but as of today we have had over 50 different contractors visits through the house. Please feel free to reach out and come and see the house and the pictures.
