We purchased a home that was already designed by Hayden, so we did not choose our own options, but loved the sections that were chosen. We found our perfect home with the home at Woodlland Hills. We love the home and the view! The process was smooth on the part of Hayden Homes. We had a hiccup with selling our home, but they hung in there with us. Sashila was great in keeping us informed. We also were very appreciative of the incentives offered by the builder.

Ryan and Justin were great to work with! This is my first Hayden home and the team was there to answer all of my questions and provide me with support through my home buying process. I came to looking into HH by heavy recommendation from a close friend & my real estate agent instead of going with the competition. Taking their advice I pursued the purchase. Overall value, was decently higher than competing homes, but due to the recommendation I was ok with it. Which is where the issues started. I met with Andrea initially to show the house, and did the initial paperwork for it. Which I went over expectations on the purchase, she said she will make sure it’s all handled. Mainly were closing date related. Turns out she wasn’t even the main person handling the purchase, which was Nicole. Once Nicole was on the same page it was mildly handled, only mildly due to miscommunication from Andrea to Nicole on expectations. But again, once Nicole was up to speed she was always VERY responsive and attentive to handling as best as she could. During the walk through, everything was marked and notated by HH reps. Most of the interior stuff was taken care of (couple things missed, but I brushed it off). And was told for exterior we would have to wait till spring due to weather. Someone was supposed to reach out to us directly to coordinate the fixes. Anddddd nothing. It seemed like once I signed for the house I was just left in the wind. I had to reach out to Nicole to get it handled after a few months of expecting a call. Then I got Jason, who said that it’ll get buttoned up. Which I guess the paperwork must have gotten lost, since I had to remember every spot/thing to get corrected. A few major issues were the main things I wanted fixed. 1. Grading in the back yard. It was graded higher at the edging of the yard pooling ANY water directly to my foundation which would cause obvious. Also another spot near the back porch (same issue). Was told one date, which was a day I had off to make sure it’s done properly. They ended up no showing, and got done while I was working. Which led to it being halfway done, but still having some grade issue pushing water towards the home. 2. Painting. There was MANY spots that were not properly painted, which will lead to major wood rot. Jason told me they would come by on a day I was off, after having me re-point out all spots by memory instead of the pictures/paperwork they should have had. Again, no showed, and came on a day I was working. And looking over they didn’t actually hit any of the spots that were pointed out, which Jason said he would overwatch the job to make sure the spots were painted. 3. Apparently HH cannot put any sort of screen/blocker to on the vents. Which even my next door neighbor pointed out hers has a cover. Which I asked about it, because having an unblocked hole leading into the house will obviously lead to birds or animals trying to nest. Which naturally will cause a major fire hazard. During the walk through, I pointed it out and was told HH will figure out a solution. Still to this day, I have no screening for it, which I have presented options that are cheap and an easy fix. And as expected, now we have birds nesting in there. 4. Along the base of the house against the foundation, the construction crew never removed the nails that held the board while they poured the concrete. Leading to now having rusty jagged nails all along my house. Which naturally with a toddler can cause many health problems. Also was pointed out MULTIPLE times. And JUST got mostly resolved the other day by Delvin, finally. Also wanting to notate the back yard itself was covered with rusty nails and misc trash all over (broken glass, nails, construction trash, etc). The biggest problem is now this is an out of pocket cost for me to fix the problems that should have gotten resolved. Luckily enough Nicole has been doing an amazing job to help my situation, and Delvin got involved and actually handled the situation. Delvin handled the paint and broke off the nails as best as possible. My main problem is now this is going to be out of pocket on my end to handle to fumbling of this whole ordeal, and costing me thousands in labor/rentals/materials. Which I’m not asking for reimbursement, but I wanted to give a review of my experience. Which unfortunately isn’t very good. As a first time home buyer, and also working in the Sales Industry, I will not be recommending HH for anyone looking for a home.

We purchased a quick move in with Hayden Holmes, and overall have been very pleased, Savannah was great to work with in the sales process, and has continued to be a resource now that we are beyond closing. We have had a handful of warranty items. Brian has been extremely punctual to reach out and get things taken care of quickly And efficiently. Prior to moving to Idaho, I was a Sr. Construction Manager for Toll Brothers, and have built something to the tune of 300 homes myself, thus far I’ve been very impressed with Hayden Holmes process..
