Between not having a great experience and should’ve been shown all the different items that we could’ve added as I believe we lost out on opportunities. We also still are struggling with things that need to be fixed as simple as a lock that doesn’t turn very well. paint chips on the windows cement cracking in the garage. Additionally, our furnace now has been told is set too high and that we have the roughing done for the air conditioner by Hopewell but now we have to move the furnace because it’s too high. There’s just too many disconnections. Additionally, still missing a shelf for my fridge. Haven’t received the fix for the fridge downstairs that has a dent in it just the non-responsiveness and the fact that our front yard still looks like a big mud hole and that we’ve been here now for two months. I understand that whether sometimes is a delay, but there’s just a lack of communication and understanding of what is going on and what is next, we are very disappointed in Hopewell and the process that this has been in. The fact that we were so excited about buying a house living in high River and thought we were getting the best value that we could has been a big disappointment.

Right from the beginning where met the Sales lead we felt comfortable and appreciated. The communication was excellent and it continued right until we moved in. The responsiveness from the entire Hopewell team has made buying the house a stress free experience and we would definitely recommend others.

Overall we have been very happy. The only issue has been the grading in the back yard. At our move in walk through it was noted it needed to be repaired and we were told it would be done soon. We are coming up on 1 month and it has yet to be completed. When we talk to the Hopewell superintendent in our area he says they know it needs to be done but there is no firm timeline. Other than the grading and now water drainage issue, the house is great.

It’s been a great experience however it would have been nice to have the garage and walk way poured at the time of move in or very close afterwards, as well the parging and loam would be nice to have completed as of yet none are.

We understand the importance of completing seasonal items and want to assure you they remain a priority for our team. Seasonal work is completed between June 15 and October 15, once the ground has fully thawed and conditions allow for a quality installation. While some items may not be completed at possession due to winter backlogs, our team works diligently to address them as soon as weather permits.

There are warranty claims in progress. Fridge is missing toe kicks, leak from outside going inside. Missing down spouts. But everybody is very responsive and very willing to help which betters the whole experience
