The initial purchase portion was very positive. The house in its built state seems to me to not be of a quality I would expect for the price and to be turned over to me waiting to see if I would notice or that no one else noticed the lack of quality. Everyone I’ve worked with has been great so it’s not a Hopewell staff problem except for the not noticing the deficiencies initially. I was extremely thankful for leniency when my house wouldn’t sell before I moved here. I felt supported by the sales team and it all worked out in the end. Overall a good experience but I’m concerned about the quality of the build. I still haven’t heard back regarding a wall with a fireplace in it not being centred as it is supposed to be. This lack of response is concerning but I am trusting in Hopewell that they people are good people so it will be rectified.

If it wasn't for our sales manager Ashley Corbett and our site supervisor Shae Ryan, I am not sure if we would have followed through with our purchase from Hopewell. We noticed a SIGNIFICANT decline in satisfaction, communication, integrity, responsiveness and dedication once we switched to a customer service representative. Had we not been able to still communicate with Ashley, who knows where we would be at this point. Ashley and Shae truly are holding your team together in High River and I seriously hope they are given the recognition they deserve. Our experience with our customer service rep was abysmal, unsatisfactory and completely unacceptable while making one of the single largest purchases a family can make. We were really disappointed.

Comparing this experience with the one I had with my first built using CedarGlen makes Hopewell look very bad, delays quality is not even comparable, the painting job is done so poorly that I would have rather left the drywall unpaint. It is an embarrassment. If the rating was one to ten you would not go over 4.5. I entered the house in November and still don't have hot water in my bathroom. On the people involved in the process with us I might save two for professionalism the rest were lacking basic skills of personal training. When people ask me if I recommend Hopewell the answer is NO, and I usually add "the next house will not be a Hopewell built not even if it is ocean view and cheap!"

We absolutely love our home and everyone we have dealt with at Hopewell along the way has been great as well. Our possession day was wonderful, we loved the gift basket and our son loves his cat stuffy! We appreciated that so much!!

The initial showhome experience was poor. We were provided a lot of mis-information by Ashley. She told us the show home is exactly what we would be getting on the exterior for our home. We did NOT get a concrete patio as she mentioned.
