Overall Experience

It took four months past the promised possession date, and many items were still incomplete on possession day. Kensington’s realtor had provided a written email agreement stating that the development fee would not be charged for this plan; however, we were still charged $10,000 a month after signing the contract. Deficiencies reported during the pre-occupancy walkthrough remain incomplete, even after three months. This is the second home we have built with Kensington Homes, but we will not be choosing them again going forward.

Overall Experience

I would likely recommend Kensington but with a clause not to have some certain staff on their home project. Experience on relating with customer via project supervisor is a terrible and still a terrible experience. However the office response was okay but a specific personnel on regular site duties is nothing to write home about till date.

Overall Experience

House was not cleaned prior to possession day. Large number of deficiencies by contractors with very minimal response from Kensington with timeline of resolution. Control cuts not done on garage foundation.

Overall Experience

We went with Kensington because of a referral of a friend. We also believed it was more premium and supposedly better than other builders. However, the team lacks customer service, poor communication to us and to each other, failed promises, and delayed reaction.

Disappointed in the quality of the front sidewalk. Tiles are coming apart, uneven and not butted up properly to the stairs. This needs to be reworked.
