Overall Experience

Most things have been great. As we live here for a bit longer, we start to notice a little lack of attention to detail (some missed spots on paint and drywall, slopping edging) but understand this isn’t a custom built multi-million dollar home. For the price, we feel like we’ve made a good purchase.

We were told that if we upgrade our appliances package, a water line for our fridge would be installed and when we received the house, we noticed that there is no water line and when we tried to get an answer, we were basically told that no water line is supposed to be installed. First, why does the selling agent use that as a selling pitch to convince us to upgrade our appliances package and second, why offer a fridge with a water souce if there is no water line in the package?

Overall Experience

While Kensington is responsive to my issues, the trades that actually address the glaring issues (there is a leak of unknown cause in my ceiling) are very unresponsive or come ill equipped to handle the issue. There is no follow up by the Kensington Homes customer service so I am quickly becoming a project manager. It is disappointing that there is no accountability from Kensington on the trades they hire to deliver customer service. This is a glaring gap in the service model. For this reason I am unlikely to purchase another Kensington Home and what I would caution family or friends on when recommending Kensington Homes.
