I absolutely love the wide stair case. I absolutely love the base carpeting. (So soft) I actually really like the vinyl flooring in the bathroom made to look like ceramic tile. It is super durable, leak proof. And, I've dropped my glasses on the ceramic before and shattered the lens. Its less hard. And warmer. I love that you installed CFL and LED lighting as a baseline for the most part. I also really like the base lighting fixtures you have chosen. They appear modern and are appealing to the eye. I love my front patio. I love that you sodded the front yard and top soiled the entire lot. I love the large windows.
I did not pick my colours. But I would change my kitchen countertops from black to grey or white. There is nothing else in the house that is black. I also would have painted white. Also, the lights in the kitchen are centered over the island. So if I want pendant lights, I can change things. This is great! However. the other kitchen lights are not linear with each other (they absolutely could be) and it looks less than ideal. I purchased a starter home, but it would be cool if solar panelling was at least roughed in. I would have liked a bigger pantry. My pantry is the standard cupboard style and you always lose things at the back. I would have put a phone jack in the front living room and every bedroom. I am one of the few weirdos that still have a landline though... Since everyone has flat screen tv's, it would be nice if you put the outlets below the tv and on the wall where the tv would hang. It's so hard to make it look nice after the fact. I would have made my back patio bigger. Even for a basic patio, it is ridiculously small. FYI: I bought a spec home so I didn't participate in the building of the property.
