Overall, this home is truly well done. There is a couple things that I’ve seen throughout the house that could’ve been done better like seeing holes on the wall and the flooring being kind of weak and very easy to ship, but it’s still a very beautiful home
The individuals we interacted with were generally great. We particularly appreciated mattamy’s accessibility program, which will have a positive impact on our family’s quality of life. Our negative views come mostly from two sources - first is that these units are far more expensive than they should be. Much of that is due to market forces, but we can see the marked difference between the early Wateridge units and these. Second is build quality. There are many cut corners, use of poor materials. Some of these appear to be workmansship driven, such as the misaligned cabinetry while others appear to be conscious business decisions - poor quality dalmen windows. Our experience with the warranty service has been poor. Mattamy has demanded a lot of time to address issues, often requiring multiple visits. The technicians often arrive Ill prepared and ill informed of the problem. We reluctantly expect that many outstanding items will have to go through Tarion.
Our experience with Mattamy Homes has been nothing short of exceptional from beginning to end. The entire process from purchase to possession was smooth, professional, and stress-free. From the very beginning Emilee in the sales office was amazing; she was thorough, knowledgeable, incredibly responsive, and truly did her best to check all our boxes. She made the start of our home-buying journey feel exciting and reassuring. A huge part of the continued positive experience was thanks to Maw and David, who were both absolutely incredible. David consistently came through for us with every little request or change we asked for before our move-in day. He kept us in the loop with regular updates, emails, and photos, which made us feel so included and confident throughout the process. Maw has also been a tremendous help even after we moved in, despite being incredibly busy, he still took the time to assist us with installing small things around the home which we truly appreciated. Both of them were so responsive, attentive, and genuinely caring. We’re incredibly grateful to have been in such great hands. We were also told by both our mortgage agent and our realtor, Sam, how reliable and reputable Mattamy is as a builder and we now understand why. We’re beyond happy with the value, responsiveness, and overall care we received, and we’ll definitely be recommending Mattamy Homes to our friends and family with full confidence.

Overall, the staffs are responsive and friendly. Jesse and the team is great in attending to issues of home after closing.

I had an absolutely outstanding experience with the customer care , the design and builder team! From the moment I reached out, I was met with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine willingness to help. Every representative I spoke with went above and beyond to ensure my issue was resolved quickly and efficiently. They were patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly courteous throughout the entire process. It’s rare to come across a team that not only solves the problem but does so with such care and attention to detail. Thanks to their exceptional service, what could have been a stressful situation turned into a seamless and positive experience. I can’t recommend them highly enough — a true gold standard in customer care! I would like to shout out specifically Amanda. She was extremely responsive, courteous and helpful. She provided solutions for logistics challenges and was all around a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for your patience and kindness Dean from the building team who went above and beyond to assist with our appliance deliveries. He took pictures, kept us posted and was just so genuinely kind and helpful Finally Christina from the design team. She was also a pleasure to deal with, always very sunny and knowledgeable. Gave us a lot of options, answered all our questions and followed up on all our inquiries.
