Ok responsiveness, although weekends seem to be off-limits for communication and at times was a bit of an issue slowing responses down. The painting in the home delivery was not done well at all and there is a lot to b desired with how the floor tiling was left with grout all over the place. Part of this seemed like a rushed job. Overall, I am satisfied with the end result and how you accommodated moving the AC unit to the side of the home when repeatedly asked (16 emails). This could improve though.

Our experience with the buying process was very good from the start as our customer care representative was very responsive and helpful in assisting us navigate the process. However, after the Pre-Delivery Inspection, things started going downhill. Some of the customer care reps either ignored our request for service or were borderline rude in their response to our numerous inquiries. The Mattamy tech sent to our home for to deal the issues identified on our 30days form was very unhelpful and brushed off most of the concerns we raised regarding the poor nature of the painting throughout our home. We still have more than 10 uncompleted items from our 30days form till date. That said, we must commend our current warranty rep- Maya-who has demonstrated unparalleled professionalism in dealing with us and attempting to resolve our outstanding concerns. Without him, we would have given Mattamy max 2 stars in overall satisfaction.

Pros - I love the design of the house, the backyard and the neighbourhood. Lindsay was always very responsive and helped when we had a flood in the basement due to a building error. Christina at the Design Centre was quite helpful. Cons - The cabinets in the bathrooms and kitchen are cracked, chipped, broken, misaligned, etc. Huge, huge disappointment. All trim and painting have many, many issues. Felt like I am/was being brushed-off whenever an issue is brought up. Technician/trades always promised to address the issues but it never happened and was never communicated to the coordinator to have it fixed as they had promised. Difficult to get the technician and trades to fix anything, even when here. Despite Lindsay's responsiveness, the trades didn't always complete the work. I had 188 issues on my 30 day list. Quite extensive. Why I would not recommend or recommend Mattamy is not because of the list of issues but mainly because of the follow-up, responsiveness and timeliness. Mistakes happen but how it is managed and corrected is what you remember.
