The build-quality of the house is very poor. There is NO sound-proofing, and it is essentially un-livable at this point. We've only been living in the unit we purchased for a couple weeks, and we are already looking into alternative living options - WE CAN HEAR EVERY MOVEMENT / STEP FROM BOTH OF OUR UPSTAIRS NEIGHBORS. WE CAN HEAR THEIR TV / MUSIC / CONVERSATIONS, AND THEY ARE LIVING ABOVE US. MY KIDS ARE HAVING TROUBLE SLEEPING BECAUSE IT SOUNDS LIKE ELEPHANTS ARE STOMPING ABOVE US - THIS CARRIES THROUGH THE EVENINGS AS WELL. How was this not taken into consideration when looking into sound-proofing?!? Also, the parking lot is very uneven / dangerous to walk in, and very large puddles are forming near where I park my vehicle. The dumpsters are basically a dumping ground for all nearby residents (including those who do not live in the community / condo area). The garbage accumulates next to the dumpsters, and rodents are starting to show their strong presence. I worry how much worse this will get, and whether or not this will be enforced. We purchased a second parking spot, and there are other vehicles constantly parking in our designated spot. The ONLY positive take-away from purchasing a home through Mattamy, is the customer service / builder representatives have been very responsive in dealing with the deficiencies in my unit.
All points of contact from purchase to occupancy and warranty have been extremely positive. All of the Mattamy employees have been amazing to deal with. This is my third time purchasing a Mattamy home, and this time has been by far the most positive experience!

I would strongly advise against choosing Mattamy. Despite paying close to a million dollars, the quality of workmanship was extremely disappointing, and their communication and responsiveness were consistently poor. It’s clear that customer care is not a priority for them—once the closing is complete, they show little to no interest in addressing any issues. The handover experience on closing day was by far the worst I’ve encountered.
I appreciate explication when David did a pre inspection and after moins repair. His prompt action and professionnal work.
