Liked Most

I love the open layout and the fact that there are 3 actual bedrooms, not 2 plus a convertible room. The community is beautiful and the location is great. Every staff member that I encountered was delightful to work with. We needed a quick closing and our sales person Brian made it happen in 3 weeks. We purchased the home as a second home for us, but our son is living there full time. We were very impressed with Paul. He was extremely thorough during our walk-thru. I am a Realtor and have been on many home inspections. Paul anticipated all my questions and gave more than satisfactory answers. Our son works long hours and Andy has been very helpful in accommodating us with getting workers into the house.

Would Change

I purchased the home after someone else's transaction fell through, so everything was already chosen. If I were building it myself I would have put tile throughout the entire house.

We received zero communication from Mattamy throughout the whole process. Jennifer in sales was horrible. We heard nothing from anyone. There were so many issues with the house that continue to go on. I still have items from my new homeowner orientation that have not been resolved.Communication is horrible. I have more than 10 items on my checklist that still needs to be resolved and we closed 4months ago. I am sure to tell everyone I know do not build with Mattamy they could care less. Our house was thrown up. The quality of construction is abysmal. All anyone cared about was closing. Two hours before our closing our house was filthy, we had incorrect appliances And we had a major flood in our master bathroom. Which still has not be completely repaired.
