very poor craftmanship in the work. Very slow response to correct punch list items. Poor communication and follow up.
We love living in the Province community, but our follow up experience with Maritage Homes has been lousy. They promised to fix things in a timely manner, but it’s just lip service. We have done interior paint touch ups ourselves and at our expense. We still have painting that needs to be done, a kitchen cupboard with a hole in it, flooring that also has holes in it. The laundry room door won’t close and our courtyard floods with even a small amount of rain. We’re incredibly disappointed in Meritage follow up as are all of our neighbors.
we retired, sold our home in Oregon in one day from placing on the market, and knew we wanted to move to Maricopa , AZ but didn't know were to start. So contacted a realtor in Arizona who went to Meritage homes for us to buy from Oregon. Not only did she find the perfect home for us , Meritage paid the agents fee for us and a VA discount on the home. We could not be more happy with the whole transaction, and just love living in Maricopa , AZ. We highly recommend buying a home from Meritage, they really care on helping people find a new home with out costing you to much money.
We would not buy a home from Meritage, nor would we recommend. Not one accommodation was made to us during the process or after. Once the salesperson had our money, there was little communication or concern for our satisfaction. The follow up by the construction manager was even worse and we became so frustrated dealing with people at the Meritage portal that we gave up. We think that is how they have planned it.
After moving into the house we have found many short Cummings. We identified many of them during the walk through and we’re assured that they would be corrected! That was a month plus ago and very little progress. We do not know who to contact to address our concerns. Many short cuts in construction. Great location and development.
We worked with Tom, and he was extremely helpful, even after we moved into our new home.
