Overall, i find great value with the deal we got and customer service/responsiveness of the your represetatives. While the quality of the material used feels inferior in some cases (appliances for eg., and switches, paint job etc.,) but finishing product and build looks great. So, for the value and the service i would definetly recommend Meritage homes.

Our closing was delayed for three weeks due to a negligence on Meritage's end. We were delayed twice, in the last one we were told at 7pm prior to day of closing. We incurred many additional expenses due to having to move our furniture deliveries twice, had to cancel our cruise and flights, etc and all of Meritage's actions screamed "Not our problem". Definitely regret picking Meritage.
