We enjoyed the entire experience from blank sheet of paper to finished Parade quality home. All members of builder's staff and all subcontractor workers were of the highest quality and were always responsive to our wishes.
We love our home! The quality and attention to detail was awesome! The team that Midwest has put together made us feel part of a family. Looking forward to building many memories here!

From start to finish we were walked through the process with help. We liked the CoConstruct App so we always knew what would be happening every week— although found the calendar on a phone app would not display as nicely as an iPad and the calendar wasn’t always updated. Everyone was so helpful when it came time to pick out product. There were a couple vendors/businesses they sent us to that may have not been our first choice.
Project completed on time during this challenging time. Closing was done with minor pending tasks. Overall we had good experience

Overall, I like the value for the amount of home. And I feel like we have high quality things in our home like the wood working. The selection process did not feel smooth and could have had more management and clear communication.
Overall our experience was very positive, even though this was a long-distance build for us where we were not at the build site very often. There were just a few items that fell through the cracks, but we would definitely build again with Midwest Homes. The use of the CoConstruct app was a little confusing, but we could see that eventually the app could be very useful if all the communications were done through the app. The app did provide us with wonderful photos of the home-building process every week.
Working with Midwest Homes was a truly wonderful experience for our family. We are in a somewhat unique situation in that our daughter is in a wheelchair. We dedicated months of our time looking at possibly renovating homes, and meeting with various builders. In the end, the thought, care, and compassion that Brian put into our home design is what sold us on Midwest. Building a home is quite the undertaking, and building an accessible home adds an extra layer to all of that. Throughout the process we had a lot of fun picking out all the design details with Michelle. We would have been lost without her!! Brian was great to work with. He and his crew made sure our house stayed on schedule, was built with quality products and by quality people. Every subcontractor we worked with was outstanding and full of great ideas to improve the functionality of our home. During the build process we were able to come out as much as we wanted, which was a really enjoyable part of the whole thing! Whenever something in the home didn't match what we had pictured, or looked like it may need to be changed, Brian was always on top of it. He responded quickly to emails and messages, he provided insight into why certain things had to be built in specific ways, and he always had a variety of options for us if something didn't turn out how we thought. Brian and everyone at Midwest truly care about the quality of the homes they build and the satisfaction of the homeowners, and that shows in their work. We would highly recommend Midwest Homes to anyone looking to build. In fact, my parents decided to build with them after watching how smoothly our build process went, and seeing the amazing home Midwest built for us! When asking around people often have horror stories about building a home, but with Midwest we were really able to enjoy the process. We are now proud owners of a beautiful home, and incredibly thankful to the whole team at Midwest Homes for all their hard work!
