Everything went great. We are happy with the home we purchased. The painting is what threw us off, and I would like the supervisor to be more responsive.
Again, our house was built and ready by the time we were looking at it, but we have had a lot of continued difficulty with them building another house beside ours (another Pacesetter home). Have faced numerous damages from the builders and contracting companies (shingling fell off roof and crushed our air conditioner, ladder dropped on porch railing and substantially dented it, builders using our property to store ladders and supplies, 50+ nails along the house, building debris stuck to weeds in our back yard space), causing a lot of unecessary stress in our first month as home owners. There is a lot of follow up needed by us as home owners to make sure our property is restored from damages (still waiting after 3 weeks for our railing to be fixed). Additionally, Coast Appliances has had our stove and microwave on back order, and we will receive them 2 months after our initial move in date, and we ordered everything a month before possession (the soonest we could order things). Might want to consider better appliance packages, as it is inconvenient waiting for appliances we got as a package deal through Pacesetter when buying our home.
As a first time home buyer, my buying a home in Canada was a whaoh experience, people say it's not possible but mine was a whaoh! Experience got my first home under 6months of residence. Awesome experience people. If you ain't buying from Pacesetter home, you are missing out. Gerald
