The home buying experience was good overall. But one thing I think you could do better is some of the blue tape issues were not fixed or even looked at on the exterior of the home. The landscaping there is no barrier between the grass and the rubber much that were filled in other areas. So when it rains or cut the grass it just goes everywhere. This is not good at all and it would help if a metal or plastic barrier was put in at the edges of the grass and mulch. Also the garage door was a strange color that doesn't match the rest of the home and they didn't paint it. There was a wooden support beam by the front door that is just ceder and wasn't painted either. It's like they just forgot. I asked the representive about that and she said they don't paint that. Very strange.

Even after closing, Jesse has made sure things got completed that unfortunately got missed after final walk through. Colin is the same, and very helpful in answering questions after I have closed.

I closed on 01/26/24 but did not move into my new home until the second week of March. When we attempted to connect our internet service we had been told it was Spectrum and At&t. We had Spectrum in our previous home so we decided to go with them. When they came out they stated that the home was not set up with the underground lines. They stated they had to dig and set up the lines on all the side of my block. It turned into a whole ordeal of back and forth. Spectrum blamed it on RC and said they waited until the very end to submit the order. The CM we had Justin, stated it was not on them and said it could've been on the development side. Justin did follow up several times with us and apologized we had not been able to move into our new home but at the end of the day I had to pay another month of rent when I did not have to. We ultimately ended going with At&t because they came and showed initiative and they even gave me a good discount for being a federal employee. During our ordeal with the internet we also reached out to our sales team member, Brian, and he was no help at all. We had to be reaching out to him and never apologized to us for not being able to move into our new home until well over a month. He was also very demanding with my wife and rude. Now that we are settled in I've also advised the CM's Jackson and Justin, who is no longer in this subdivision that we have noticed several sketchy cars come to the end of the block at the cul de sac to dump stuff very late at nigjt. There is a light post there and I've requested for them to set up a camera a couple of times for peace of mind since we are the only ones towards the end of the block but I haven't seen anything set up yet. I was also told by the CM's that there is a patrol car who will drive around but in 3 weeks I have not seen anyone pass by. During the construction process we would sometimes come to see the home and there was one time when the drywall had not been installed yet that my wife smelled urine in the master tub. That was also disclosed to CM Justin. Lastly, I am also still pending my 20 day follow up which is pretty crazy, it was originally scheduled for February and it will end up being done in April I'm assuming. As far as the home we've noticed a couple of floor tile come loose and during the very first week after we closed there were some strong winds that weekend and some shingles blew off. My wife advised Justin and he had someone come by and fix those. That was also concerning especially if it happened not even two weeks after closing. We are still getting a feel for the home and trying to settle in.
