We are absolutely in love with our first home Raush and Coleman has been a pleasure to work with beginning to the end made our building and buying experience easy including financing it’s exactly what we were looking for if I had to do it over again I would choose RC🤗
I was very frustrated in the beginning of the home buying process. I really liked a specific house, but unfortunately when I went to look at the house with my realtor it was already under contract. Later that day I got news that the house was no longer under contract and I could sign a contract for it. I was walked through the contract with the respective seller was promised the house was mine. Less than 12 hours later I got a phone call saying the house was falsely promised to me and I would not be getting that house. It turned out that someone else supposedly signed another contract on the house five minutes before I did. Due to lack of communication between all of their sellers, I was falsely promised a house and was forced to restart the house searching process. In an attempt to fix the relationship and keep me as a customer, the seller was able to offer me a couple options with the style of house I wanted. So I changed paths and went the route of building a house instead of finding one already built. I picked specific things for the house and was happy that I got to choose certain things instead of settling for the previous house that didn’t have a few things I wanted. Despite knowing this, the seller reached out to my realtor after I signed on the new construction house to see if I would want the previous house. The seller initially said that the house was no longer under contract. However, the seller eventually said she “thinks” the funding was going to fall through and wanted to offer it to me. I did not appreciate that at all. I had already set my hopes in that house once and it fell through. It luckily lead me to creating a house I would truly love. But she came back with another false promise. I would have been furious if that contract did go through and I was left without the house again, all because the seller assumed the contract wouldn’t work. It would have been different if she came to us without 100% guarantee the previous contract on the house was not approved. During the building and closing process, I was also not completely satisfied with the seller. Due to the above mentioned mishap, my realtor wanted to be kept 100% in the loop and the seller agreed to this. However, during the process this did not happen. The seller was supposed to update my realtor when I was updated on the weekly calls. My realtor was never updated by the seller. During the weekly updates it felt like the seller was just forcing all of the updates on the builder. She never had an update to give me, which I feel like is incorrect. I had to constantly remind the seller to send me documents because she would forget. This happened with several documents. That is not professional. My experience with the builder was great. As a first time home buyer, I wasn’t sure about many things in the home buying process. The builder was patient with all of my questions and explained things thoroughly. He kept me very updated on the house’s progress. After I closed, I was again frustrated. Roughly 1-2 weeks after I closed on the house and had moved in I noticed that some of the construction workers were using my electrical outlets and was using my yard to pile all of their supplies. That is not acceptable. I sent a message to the seller and she apologized and said she would let the workers know to not do that since I had closed on the house. That message should have been relayed to the workers as soon as I had closed. I should not have had to catch them in the act. Adding onto that, a worker just walked into my house one day because he didn’t know that I had closed on the house. He at least apologized for his action, but again it should have been relayed that this house was no longer accessible to workers because it was bought. Additionally, I was told by the seller she would check in with me every week for a month to make sure I was settling into the house and didn’t need anything. The happened twice. Again, a failed promise by the seller.
From start to closing I felt 100% supported. Never once felt taken advantage of and that was so important to me. All around great company!
When a home is built quickly, there are always a few issues with new construction. It just falls to working with the warranty to straighten the missed items that can still be addressed. The home I've purchased and surrounding homes look good overall.
Overall has been good. Only difficulty we have is getting responses and knowing who we need to contact regarding certain issues but could also do with the switch over to lennar and people moving around. Overall it has been good and we’re happy with our home

I had a great experience working with the builder Austin and our sales representative Beth. They were both professional and knowledgeable in the full process of purchasing my home. Austin gave us a thorough tour of the house explaining how everything works. I am super happy that we chose Rausch Coleman!
