Liked Most

- Most of the time people showed up when they were supposed to and work got done as promised (relief!) - Given the terrible and unforeseen issues with our master bedroom and roof (water, rot damage) and all the help needed related to that, we were INCREDIBLY grateful - The people RDC had come in (who were part of RDC) were respectful and professional - we felt comfortable having the team work in our home - Bob is amazing and we felt (and feel) very supported given our extensive water damage/rot issues - lots of good advice given - We felt that quality of workmanship was a priority and that meant a lot to us - We felt like customer satisfaction was important - this was much appreciated - We are grateful for the meeting(s) with our lawyer - Overall - good!

Would Change

- Overall, we are happy with what RDC was tasked with and completed, especially given the unforeseen element of the water damage/mold/repair needed - Would have been better if the floor guys had simply not been permitted to cut inside the house right from the get go (harder stance from site manager would have been useful OR he should have alerted us to it immediately and instructed us to take a hard stance; we didn't find out until too late) - Would have liked to have better conversations around choices and decisions in advance (ex. spray foaming) and more regular in-depth conversations about how to best navigate as things unfolded that were driven by the team and not us - Shower situation is terrible (despite our ask that the shower experience will be free from issues, we have issues: ex. if two people take showers at the same time, there is zero hot water at all, start to finish) - Labelling and detailed instructions with various items in the home could have been completed with more accuracy and documents created for post-finish access - Would have been nice to get options to upgrade (ex. seismic) - things we didn't think of in advance that we have since thought of but it's too late now to go back to... - The calendar/schedule and documentation was very clear and up to date at the start but eventually towards the end became less clear and lacked updates (we needed to do some chasing towards the end) - Some minor hiccups occurred (ex. wrong tape ruined concrete floor polish) but the team tried to correct (although the end result wasn't 100% there certainly was care and effort in rectifying)
